CHAPTER 30: VAMPIRE ENCLAVE

THIRD PERSON'S POINT OF VIEW

In the deep of the forest, Klye and Amelia decided to take the path to go to the vampire enclave. Amelia slowly achieves her goals as she enters unfamiliar surroundings. She felt that her greatest desire was about to come true as she looked around.

Kyle looked at Amelia concerned. "Just be near me, and don't go far away. Because this place is quite dangerous,"

Kyle expresses his concern for Amelia since he knows that it would be so dangerous for a mortal to go near any of the immortal realms. But since he still felt something for the woman, he agreed to go with her. The only thing that he wanted to do right now was to make sure that Amelia could get the book that she was talking about.

In that way, Kyle knows that the grandmother of Amelia could rest in peace knowing that the book that their family has treasured and kept secure for a generation has come back into their care. He doesn't know anything well about that book, but all he needed to do right now was to be able to protect Amelia. Because he once almost lost her and he didn't want that to happen again.

Since the day that Amelia left him alone in the hotel, and didn't even say goodbye, she just bid her farewells in the papers. It shattered Klye's heart into pieces. Now that he was seeing her right in front of her, she would not let Amelia leave her sight again. He would do everything to make sure that Amelia would always be by his side.

"It's alright! I can fight, you don't need to worry about me so much," Amelia answered as she looked around at the entrance of the vampire enclave.

The only thing that Amelia wanted to do right now was to make sure that she would find the Tajik book that her grandmother used to protect. That book was so important to her family, that she doesn't know the whole reason why she needed it back. Because her grandmother died telling her the whole story of why she needed to get it back. The only thing she knew right now was that she needed to get her hands on that book again.

"Are you sure? I still just wanted to make sure that you would be safe," Kyle said as he held hands with Amelia to make sure that she would just be right beside him.

Amelia looked around, and she knew that she would not be able to cross the world of the immortal if Klye was not with her. As a mortal, she would not be able to have access to the immortal world, and if she didn't know Kyle then it would be impossible for her to go through the journey.

"Hunters!" Kyle shouted as he saw some vampires approaching them.

"Where?" Amelia immediately asked as she looked around to see where the hunter that Kyle was talking about was.

When Amelia looked around she immediately spotted where the vampire was. And they are heading in her direction, it seems that they are gonna be chased by the vampire hunters. Because they smelled the mortal blood of Amelia.

Kyle immediately held tight on Amelia and told her. "Hold on tight! We are gonna run faster from her," he said.

Kyle held her when he was sure that Amelia was grabbing her so tightly. Kyle uses his ability to run faster away from the Hunters because he knows that he doesn't have a chance from them. Since there are so many if he has chosen to fight over them, he can't ensure their safety of Amelia. And he doesn't want anything to happen to her.

Kyle would do his best to protect Amelia, and that was what he was doing. They needed to trick the hunters so that they get caught and get killed. Kyle was now afraid for the life of Amelia, he didn't care if he got killed. But Amelia? He would never forgive himself if something had happened to her. He would always live up to the guilt if something bad happened to her because he was unable to protect her.

While running Klye looked back and saw that the vampire hunters had been killed. It looked like one of the vampire lords, Klye stopped running and looked closely at who was it.

"Why we stopped?" Amelia asked confusedly.

All that Amelia felt right now was fear, she didn't know what to do because she never encountered that type of creature before. And looking by the looks of the Hunters it seems that they would be a tough fight and she can't make sure that she can win among them.

"Kyle?" Amelia called Kyle once more when she noticed that he was not paying attention to her.

Amelia then looked in the direction that Klye was looking because she became curious about what he was staring at. She realized that Kyle was looking at the lifeless bodies of the hunters that had been chasing them earlier. Someone was standing near their corpses which made them stop in their tracks.

Based on how the man wore his suit and on his appearance, Amelia concluded it was one of the vvampire'sLord. Amelia became more worried because she knew how powerful and strong the was and if they were caught up by him they would surely be dead.

Amelia shakes Kyle off and he still doesn't budge it seems that he is trying to see the face of the vampire Lords. The hands of the vampire Lords were bloody as he just finished the vampire Hunters that were chasing them.

"Kyle!" Amelia shouted at Klye to wake him up from reality.

Kyle looked up closely at to vampire Lord that was getting close to them and trying to analyze who was it. "Lord Kenrad Hossin?" he whispered.

"Let's run!" Amelia said to him and tried to pull him away.

"No! Wait, I know that man," Kyle said.

Then Amelia looked at the vampire that was now in front of them. Amelia had hidden in the back of Klye as she was getting too afraid of the powerful vampire that was in front of her right now.

"My friend?" Lord Kenrad Hossin happily greeted Klye.

"My dear friend. How it's been?" Kyle happily asked him.

Amelia looked at them closely, because she realized that Klye and the vampire Lord in front of them right now was a close friend of Klye and she knew that she had nothing to worry about. She moves away from the back of Klye and gets the courage to look at the appearance of one of the most powerful vampires known in history.

Then Amelia gathered her courage to ask him. "Where is Tajik?"

"Tajik?" Lord Kenrad Hossin asked confusedly.

Lord Kenrad Hossin can smell the mortal scent from Amelia and starts to be mesmerized by her courage to go into the mortal realm.

"She is my friend and we are trying to find something in here," Klye explained to Lord Kenrad Hossin as he pulled Amelia closer to him.

Kyle just wanted to make sure that Amelia would not get hurt by them, and he would do everything to protect the woman that he once loved. He didn't realize it yet, but deep inside he was falling in love with the same woman again. Even he knows that it would be against every clan as he was immortal and Amelia was just an ordinary mortal.

"So you are finding Tajik?" Lord Kenrad Hossin asked.

"Yes! Do you know where Tajik was?" Amelia asked him once again.

Amelia wanted to know where Tajik was because it seemed that the vampire was the one who took the book from the grandmother of Amelia before she died.

"He was one of the Vampire Lords that was killed. We are still trying to find the person that killed him. Tajik is dead," Lord Kenrad Hossin explained.

"Can you show us where he was staying?" Kyle asked because he knew that the thing that Amelia was trying to find might be able to be there.

"Sure!" Lord Kenrad Hossin answered.

Amelia immediately held Alye's hands as he used his ability to follow Lord Kenrad Hossin so that they would immediately be in the manor of Tajik.

Amelia looked around, there were a lot of vampires that were looking at them as they took their path. She knows that they were able to smell the blood of a mortal in hers. But she also knows that she won't be able to get hurt by them because she was with Klye and Lord Kenrad Hossin.

"Here we are the burning manor of the vampire Lord Tajik!", Lord Kenrad Hossin said.

Lord Kenrad Hossin and Klye talked about what happened to the dead Tajik. While Amelia tried to find the book in the burning manor, trying to find it in there. Because her grandmother told her that she would find the book there.

Amelia looked around the burned manor to look for the book that she needed to find. But she tried so hard to find it even when everything around her was only ashes.

Amelia still didn't lose any hope and just tried to find it. "Damn it! It looks like the book isn't in here," she whispered to herself.
