Another day in the office doing other people work again. Don't worry I love helping out others it's my nature.

　　They're busy too, but they can't seem to say no.

　　I'm Iris Jones. An ordinary 20 year old office worker. My name is the most popular name of the year.

　　"Please help me change the batteries? Also, help me return the books?"

　　"Iris, help me book the meeting room?"

　　"Iris, don't forget those papers I

　　asked you to type up!"

　　"Right! I'll have that for you this afternoon" I said to Mr. Williams, as I'm walking to my office.

　　"Although its convenient, I don't want to be like her" I hear Jessi say.

　　"I will never be able to accept it."

　　They always talk about me behind my back. But I just choose to ignore it.

　　"Iris! Go an get some coffee at the cafe for us." Mr. William said.

　　"NOW!"

　　"Right away, Sir." I say while jumping out of my chair.

　　In order to get paid I have to put up with the yelling and shouting from Mr. William but money doesn't grow on trees so who am I to complain.

　　I was so caught up in my thoughts, I didn't realize the door was in front of me.

　　The door made a loud thud when my head and body connected with it.

　　Feeling embarrassed, I rushed out of the laughter filled office. And straight to the elevator.

　　I just finished the papers for Mr. William. Honestly I don't know why he can't do it by himself.

　　I get up from my desk and walk to his office, so I can give him the papers.

　　"Oh Ms. Jones, glad you are still here."

　　"Yes, I just finished the paperwork you asked me to do!"

　　"Great! Great!"

　　He looked like he had something to ask me, but was really hesitant.

　　"Is there anything else you need Mr. William? If not I'll be leaving now." I said, getting ready to leave his office.

　　"Actually Ms. Jones, there is something that I will like to ask you."

　　"The CEO of the company is joining us tomorrow. And he is looking for a new assistant."

　　"And I happened to volunteer you as his new assistant."

　　Excuse me! He did what now!

　　Why would he pick me? Out of everyone in the office, why me though?

　　"Sir, why me?"

　　"Because your the only one in the office that I can trust Ms. Jones."

　　I've been at this company for how many years, and he's saying all of this now.

　　Honestly I really don't even know what to say.

　　"Just please think about it. And if you consider taking this new position, please be here tomorrow morning @ 8."

　　"I'll think about it Mr. William." I said as I was walking out of his office.

　　"Have a good night Ms. Jones."
