The spring is at its very best, with bright sunshine, blue sky and petally road full of Cherry Blossom. I love it like nothing else in the World. "Kim Ji Chi!!! Wait for me." Lee Seo Jun, my beat friend since grade school shouted as he came running towards me. I waved my hand without looking back at him. Well, we already missed the bus and my anger knew no bounds.

He put his arms around me and started to play with my cheeks. Well, I hate it. "Cheeky, fluffy cheeks! " he said as he pinched my cheeks and pat my head.

"Stop it already Seo Jun. It won't work on me." I said and took his hands off my shoulders. I was super irritated because its been thrice in a week already and the way back home is too long even with the shortcut we take by the woods.

"Don't be angry Chi Chi. I will treat you to noodles once we reach our favourite Restaurant." He said and put his hands on my shoulder again and began playing with my hair.

"You should. I am hungry and I wanna kill you already." I said and roll my eyes. He laughed it off and we walked for what seems like ages and finally reached The Secret Garden.

"Two bowls of pork noodles please." He said and wink at me, I hated it. I rolled my eyes and was about to leave when he took grab my hands and asked me to pay. I bigger my eyes and looked at him. He smiled, shut my eyes with his hands and said, "I was just kidding, you idiot."

We waited for our noodles to arrive and ate our full and left. "Bye! " I said and started walking towards my home which is just next to his when he called out my name.

"What?" I asked.

"Just wanted to see your annoyed face." He said and left.

"Mom! I'm home!" I said, she greeted me with rice pudding. She knows how much I love it. I was about to eat it when she asked, "Where is Seo Jun? He wanted to have it too."

"He'll come in the evening. Don't worry about him. We missed the last bus because of him. Ah! I hate him so much." I said when Mom hit my head with the spoon.

"Stop cursing him already! He is such a sweet boy." She said and took the pudding and kept it in the fridge and said, "Have it with him when he'll come in the evening!"

"Be his Mom already!" I whispered, annoyed at Seo Jun and Mom.

I changed, took a bath and wore my night white gown when the door opened all of a sudden. "Yahhh!!!!" I shouted at Seo Jun, who walked in with pudding, popcorn and his laptop as if nothing happened. "You should knock before you walk into a girls' room." I said. He looked at me from head to toe and said, " You? Not at all."

"Whatever." I said and started to blow dry my hair.

"Lets watch this movie. It seems really interesting to me." He said and pat in the bed next to him signaling me to come watch it with him.

"I'll dry my hair first." I said and started doing the same, when he grabbed the dryer and said, " You look good in wet hair. Come already, lets watch!" and turned off the dryer, took my hand and started with the movie. We watched and it was good.I love it.

After the movie end, he said, "Told you that this is going to be fun." Our choices always click!

"Yeah. I loved it!" I said with excitement as I bigger my eyes, he as usual, put his hands and cover my eyes shut and said, " They'll come out. Close your eyes already." and gave out a laugh.

"Whatever." I said and took his hands off my eyes.

He stared at me and said with his soft voice, " Do you know?"

I stared back and said, "what?"

He came a bit closer and said, "You are ugly." And ran out of my room.

"Whatever." I thought and went downstairs.

Seo Jun was already having dinner with Mom and I join later and sat and see them talk and laugh, my mom hasn't laugh a lot since Dad passed away when I was 5. And though its already been 12 years, she still misses him. So, having Seo Jun is a good idea.

The next morning, I am still waiting for Seo Jun and he's late. No wonder he's third to the last in our class. "I'm sorry!" he said catching breaths. "If we'll be late today, I-----"

He took my hand and we started running and a second before the bus started, we reached. It was packed but we managed anyway. "Come here." He said and grabbed my arms and took me to the corner and build a wall with his arms.

"Its packed and I cannot breathe." I said and started to fan me from my hankerchief.

"Why? Being shielded by an awesomely handsome young man makes you breathless?" he said with a wink and smiled.

"Whatever." I said and roll my eyes.

He took his hands and like always, shut my eyes with his hands when the bus made a sudden bump and our lips met. My best Friend stole my first kiss.

I pull away and hit his head. "I told you not to cover my eyes." I said and hit him again and again.

"Ah ah ah.. It hurts. Just stop it already." He said and looked at me.

"Stop staring already! " I said and slap his shoulder again and again when he grab my hands and the bus made another bump and he fell over me into a hug.

"Lets just stay like this for forever, honey." He whispered to my ears and chuckled.

"Yah!!!" I said and hit his head again.

He let go of me and started laughing. "Today is such a badluck." He said and stared at me.

We reached school and then, all the junior girls from my school took Jun' away. He's such a popular guy. What to say.

He looked back and winked at me as if sayin, " Told you, I'm popular."

I rolled my eyes and walked alone when someone called me from behind, I turned around and there he was, our class president , Park Hoon Young.

"Hoon Young!" I said and waved him a "Hi".

"Are you walking alone? Where's Seo Jun?" He asked.

"He left with his girls." I said and smiled.

"So, can we walk together till class? " He asked raising his brows.

"Yeah! Sure." I said and we walked together till class.

We walked in and got back to our seat. He sits a seat in front of me. Seo Jun tapped on my window and signaled me to come out.

"Smiling from ear to ear. Did he asked you out?" Jun asked.

"Stop talking shit. Why would he ask someone like me on a date?" I said and rolled my eyes.

"Thats true." He said and left for his classes.

During Lunch time, Jun was again dragged by his fan girls and Hoon Young walked upto me and said, "Lets eat together."

I nodded and walked with him to the school cafeteria. Hoon Young is popular as well, but he is cold and hates stupid people. So, girls don't dare to approach him.

I heard some giggles and some remarks about how plain I am in front of Hoon Young, but I ignored because it doesn't matter. We are not together.

He turned around and looked at them, the looked at each other and look away. Then he turned around again and looked at me and said, "I hate girls who talk behind peoples' back. They are just not my cup of tea. I hate them so much." He said it loud enough for the whole cafeteria to hear.

The girl stand up and said, " Isn't it too much already? We just said the truth." And rolled her eyes crossing her arms. The other girl stood and said, " It's not our fault that she is so plain and so ugly at the same time."

Hoon Young was irritated, he stood with a bang on the dinner table, turned and said, " She maybe plain, but someone with 5- 6 layers of plastic and tonnes of makeup to cover shouldn't bring it up. I bet you won't be able to wash your face without your eyebrows getting washed away with it." He smirked and looked at me. They stood there. Frozen and annoyed.

He began eating as if nothing happened. He looked at me and winked. It was nothing normal for me, I've been bullied since elementary school because we moved in when my father died. And people won't want to be friends with someone without a dad. I used to be really gloomy as a kid and was bullied, so being called ugly and plain never bothered me. It was always okay.

I went back to eating when something unexpected happened. Seo Jun came from out of nowhere and took the glass of water from the girls' table and threw it to their faces.

"Jun..." I let out a whisper.

"Ohh! Is that makeup? You look quite different and plain yourself. I'm afraid, it seems like your face is melting all the layers of make up" he said and smirked.

Seo Jun grabbed my hands and pulled me away. He grabbed me on both side of the arms and shouted, "Are you dumb? Why do you always have to just take it all? Are you trying to test my patience? What are you?"

The hall went silent. Everyones' eyes were on us.

He grabbed me and pull me away from the crowd into the rooftop abandoned room that is our hiding space which was is abandone now, and once was a reading corner for reading club. But since, the literary club has emerged, all the activities, like reading, writing clubs are combined as one single club.

"Now that we are alone, tell me for real, What is your fucking problem?" He yelled at me. His nerves were all pulled out into his face, neck and arms. He was furious.

I smiled cause I find it funny everytime he gets mad.

I said, " Nothing, its such a bore to argue. Not worth my time." I said.

"But I get mad when you don't say anything at all. It gets to me that you try to act all soft and I just hate it." He yelled again.

"Its okay Jun' na. But, please don't get so worked up next time. I don't like it." I said with a smile.

"But, try to stand up for yourself because I won't be forever there for you." He said.

"I got it." I said when the room door opened. It was Hoon Young.

"I looked for you since I was concerned." He said while scratching his brows with his fingers.

"For your information she is well and good and I guess you should go and pull back the door. You are not invited in here." Seo Jun said and held out a smirked.

"Seojun... Stop...." I said as he rolled his eyes.

"Actually, I stopped by to say that can we meet after class. I have something to give to you." Hoon Young said not minding Seo Jun's nagging.

"Okay. We'll meet after class." I said with a smile and he left.

"Why would you meet him? Who is he to you? How does he know that you are here? Isn't this supposed to be our hideout?" Seo Jun bombed me with questions.

"Lets just leave. We still have classes." I said and was about to leave when he pulled my hands and I fell right at him in the sofa he was sitting on.

The white curtains flew in the wind as the sun shone and his eyes look like golden butter to me. His face shone like the sun in its best and I saw in his eyes the look of longing I've never seen before.

He was also staring right at me when I snucked back to reality.

I pulled up myself and was setting my hair back to place when he said, "You are not going to meet Hoon Young. Not today, not ever." He left right after with a bang on the door. I stood there speechless. What just happened?

Is this a script from the movies? Did I just had a female lead scene? Oh my god. My heart was pounding hard. His words " You are not going to meef Hoon Young. Not today, not ever." kept playing in my ears and I blushed throughout the rest of the classes.

I have been very much in love with Seo Jun for as long as I remembered. Though he would sometimes hurt me with his flings, but since I've decided to like him one sidedly, I have made it mandatory to me that I would be happy for his happiness and would not be in his way of happiness.

That being said. The bell rang and I was finally awake from my thoughts. Seo Jun and I are though class mates, he and I are divided in sections. He is in section 3 and I am in Section 1.

I was packing my books back into my bag when a shadow formed in my desk. Thinking it to be Seo Jun, I pushed him and said, "I am busy, don't kid with me." I raised my eyes and saw the one I pushed was Hoon Young.

I stood upto help him as I bit my lips at my own stupidity.

"I'm sorry Hoon Young, I assumed it to be Seo Jun as he always would play pranks with me. I'm sorry" I said.

"No worries. I liked being pushed by you. It made me feel like I, finally have a friend who is not afraid of getting on my bad side." He said and smiled.

"Is that so?" I said and smiled.

"Well, this is the thing that I wanted to give to you."
