Chapter 1

The school had just resumed and the students were all happy to be back in school after the not ending vacation. Not that there weren’t new students but most of them were in school before now. The students were happy to see their friends after so many days of being without them. Every student was in groups meaning they were all with their circle of friends. He entered and all eyes seems to be on him, on a norm, if a student is being noticed it is either the student was new and hot or the student was popular in school. But this time around they were looking at him because they all had the same thought in their mind which was “this guy looks so horrible” He was dressed in an outdated manner and he walked in with confidence. Who gives a fuck on his good looks no girl will be proud to go clubbing with him. Steve had expected them to treat him badly but definitely not disgustingly. He just moved to the city two weeks ago and he had been trying to blend with the system of his new environment but with the new welcome he received, it will be hard to cope in school. After the death of his parents he moved to his uncle’s house. The wife was very pleased since she had none. Steve felt comfortable living with his uncle but he still missed his parents. He just entered college and his mum was not there to give him the greatest good luck kiss ever. He walked to the lecture room and when the lecturer entered he was very happy for the main time at least no one will focus on him. The lecturer giggled and no one had to tell him that he was the reason for the giggling. Just then a lady entered and the lecturer thankfully removed his eyes from Steve and smiled slyly at the lady. Steve knew something was off with the way the girl was being looked at but he knew it was not disgustingly; at least she was not like him.

“Look who is here, look miss Roxie it is either you drop from school and start your career in “swimming” or get serious and get your diploma” the lecturer said quoting swimming by raising two fingers on each hands. Roxie seems not bothered and went to sit next to Steve not realizing who was sitting beside her.

"I'm Roxanna but call me Roxie" Roxie said in the most friendly manner he has ever been spoken to in a while. He nods and smiled at her.

"Steve is the name" he said not still looking at his eyes.

"So Steve do you wanna come with me to the swimming pool? " she asked with a wicked and sexy wink and he couldn't help but fall for it he agreed. Who would want to miss that opportunity even if he is a typical local guy.
