"I'm pregnant!" Caroline Simons didn't expect this surprise to come so quickly! If Tyler Long found out about it, he would definitely be even happier than she was.

Caroline was so excited that she couldn't help pacing back and forth in the bedroom with the pregnancy report clutched in her hands.

"You're pregnant? Whose child is it?" A sarcastic voice suddenly rang in her ear, and the pregnancy report was snatched out of her hands.

Whose child was it? Caroline was stunned. The girl who snatched her pregnancy report was her half-sister, Loraine Simons. How could she not know that this child was Tyler's?

With a cold smile on her face, Loraine said, "Caroline, you couldn't possibly have gotten pregnant because of what happened that night at Star World Hotel on July 13th, right?"

Caroline was shocked to hear that and blurted, "How would you know that? Did Tyler tell you?"

July 13th was indeed the day that Caroline and her newlywed husband, Tyler, consummated their wedding. Tyler was the one who chose the location, which was Star World Hotel. When she arrived at the hotel room, she was greeted with flower petals showered over the carpet, which was so romantic and beautiful...

Loraine said with a smile, "How would I know? Ha! Did you think that the man from that night was Tyler? Actually, it wasn't. In fact, the man who was with you on July 13th at Star World Hotel was someone Tyler and I arranged. That night, after drinking the tea I've prepared for you, you were so enthusiastic towards that man."

Caroline's brain felt like it had exploded.

How... How could that be possible? She refused to believe it!

"Caroline, the child you're carrying... It isn't Tyler's. Since you're so upset, how about I give you a hand in getting rid of it?" Loraine offered.

Loraine forced the stunned Caroline to retreat until her back was against the wall. Suddenly, she reached out, grabbed Caroline's shoulders, and pressed her body downward.

Loraine then bent her right leg upward and ruthlessly kneed Caroline in the abdomen.

With a sharp pain rocking through her body, Caroline instinctively pushed Loraine away, who then fell to the floor with a thud.

"Loraine? Are you okay?" Tyler suddenly rushed in through the door and crouched down to help Loraine up.

"Caroline, what do you think you're doing? She's your sister!" Tyler rebuked.

Caroline stared at her husband. Even though she was his wife, he didn't even bother helping her. Instead, he was accusing her because of Loraine!

"Tyler, Caroline's pregnant with that man's child, but she doesn't want to keep it and was forcing me to help her get rid of it. How would I dare do that?" Loraine said.

Loraine immediately burst into tears. She looked pitiful and powerless, as though she was the person in the wrong. 

Tyler was caught off guard. He looked up at Caroline and asked, "You're pregnant?"

Caroline saw a flash of excitement in his eyes and instantly felt cold to the core as if she had fallen into an ice pit. "Tyler, what do you mean by that?" she said.  

Tyler's eyes flashed. After pondering for a moment, he said, "Look, Caroline. On the night of July 13th, at Star World Hotel, the man that was in room 3309 was Mr. Zellweger."

"Caroline, right now, I'm just the deputy general manager in one of the subsidiaries of Zellweger Group. Mr. Zellweger, however, is in charge of the whole Zellweger Group. With you having spent just one night with him, I'll be able to move up to the position of general manager," Tyler said.

Caroline's face ravaged with despair. She felt the man before her familiar yet so much like a stranger.

With trembling lips, she asked, "So, you and Loraine worked together to get me into that man's bed that night?"

Tyler looked her in the eyes and nodded, "Caroline, I graduated from university three years ago, but now, I'm only the deputy general manager of a subsidiary of Zellweger Group. Do you know how frustrated I've been all these years?"

Tyler had a lot to say for himself. He proceeded to say how much effort he had put in just to get into Zellweger Group even before he graduated. He also expressed how tough it had been for him these past three years, how excruciating it was, and how he refused to accept his current situation.

He continued talking about how, at their wedding, he noticed that Mr. Zellweger had stolen glances on Caroline a few times. At that moment, he knew that his opportunity had come. Thus, he 'had no choice' but to give her up. She was a virgin anyway, and he knew Mr. Zellweger would enjoy that.

Finally, he said, "Caroline, I even fought with my parents back then and turned my back on everybody who objected just so I could marry you. Can't you just do this one thing for me, and give birth to a child for Mr. Zellweger?"
