YZRAEL’S POV

“Yzrael?”

I turned to the woman who called me.

“OMG! It’s really you! I’m a huge fan! Can I have your autograph, pretty please?”

I smiled at her, the usual smile I practiced over and over again in front of a mirror. “Of course.”

She gave me a black marker pen, turned her back to me, and flipped her long blond hair to one side. “Please sign it on my back.”

“You sure?” I asked as I tapped gently on her back to confirm it. “Right here?”

“Yes please!”

“What’s your name?”

“It’s Rasha.”

“Thank you for supporting me, Rasha.” I removed the cap of the marker and wrote the words ‘I love you Rasha’ and a signature along with it on her white T-shirt.

After we took a selfie together, I excused myself from her and just walked around wherever my feet take me.

These past few weeks, I’ve been losing my love and passion for my work. Being an idol is what I dreamed to be but I’m starting to be bored with it. Maybe it’s because after being exposed to too much spotlight, I stopped growing as an idol. That’s why I asked my manager for a short vacation to unwind and maybe by then, I would’ve written the next big hit album.

I stopped for a moment upon seeing the people shooting on the Town Square. There were a lot of people who were watching the shoot so it was really hard to squeeze through them. I told myself that I would only watch for a few minutes but my eyes landed on a familiar woman who was also watching.

Instead of watching the shoot, my eyes focused on her. The tear she shed didn’t escape from my watchful gaze. It felt as if my heart had been pinched as I saw those sad eyes. I know this movie project. She was supposed to be starring in this drama if not for her scandal.

A lot of people don’t know that I’m a fan of her. All of her dramas, movies, commercials, photoshoots, behind-the-scenes moments, I watch all of them. She’s really a great actress. If ‘that’ didn’t happen, she could’ve been the brightest star among the celebrities.

I wanted to wipe her tears so bad that I walked towards her in a snap. “Caffei?”

She jerked in a sudden upon hearing me call her but then she ran away immediately.

I tried to run after her but I already lost sight of her as there were a lot of people.

The next day, I went to a coffee shop near the hotel I’m currently staying at.

“One latte and one americano, please,” ordered the woman who was in front of me on the line.

‘Her voice sounds familiar,’ I told myself as I casually tried to take a look at the face of the woman who was wearing a black cap as dark as her jet black hair, contrasting with her pale white complexion.

I have confirmed that it was really Caffei when she received the coffee and walked past me. I was about to call her name but I mentally stopped myself when I realized she might run away again so what I did is, I secretly followed her. I made sure I distanced myself from her so she wouldn’t notice me.

She went inside a penthouse and a man wearing pajamas opened the door for her and kissed her cheeks.

‘Is that her boyfriend?’

I tried to look at the man’s face but she was covering him so I couldn’t.

That afternoon on the same day, I went to that penthouse again to at least have a glimpse of her if she ever took a step outside.

“Who are you?” a cold baritone voice asked from behind me.

I literally jumped, surprised by that voice. I didn’t expect someone would catch me this early.

I turned to look at him and replied, “I was just passing by.”

I was about to walk away but then he grabbed me on the collar with one hand. “And who are you fooling? What are you doing in front of my house?”

“Your house? It’s yours?”

‘Then he’s really her boyfriend, huh?’

“It’s mine. Now, why are you stalking me?” His eyes elevated from my face down to my feet then back to my face again. “You don’t look like the type of person I’m thinking.”

I answered, “I’m not gay and I’m not stalking you. I just wanted to see your girlfriend. I’m a huge fan of her.”

His brows rose. “My girlfriend?”

“Yes.”

“I didn’t know I had a girlfriend. Nice. Who is it?”

I looked at him in confusion. “If not your girlfriend, then your wife?”

He furrowed his brows. “What kind of weeds are you smoking? I’m still too young to have a wife. What are you talking about?”
