When Camilla was awakened by Hailey's voice, the sky was already bright. The girl said that she got a sponsor for the club and asked her to get up and get ready.

Camilla's pair of tangerine eyes then stared at the ceiling blankly. Her head felt dizzy as she slowly remembered the event at the Paradise Club last night.

Damn, she drank too much yesterday! Camilla did things she didn't normally do last night!

The girl grumbled to herself before getting out of bed. She staggered and fell as soon as her feet touched the floor.

  “Ouch! It hurts!"

Camilla got back to her feet with a bruise on her forehead, hissing as she endured the pain in her legs. She slowly turned her gaze and looked at the oversized pajama she wore with her cleavage exposed. The purple bruise on her neck really caught her by surprise.

Her little face instantly creased, she didn't know how could she be like this after getting a hangover?

Camilla planned to return to New York at noon, but she was upset about something.

"You slept all the way until noon. Are you still feeling drunk?" Hailey was worried about Camilla, feeling that the girl wasn’t in a good mood.

"Shit, Hailey! You don't have a conscience! What kind of friend are you?"

"What? I don't know what you're talking about, Mila.”

"How could you throw me last night? Are you planning to kill me?"

"You're exaggerating!" Hailey laughed and her face turned sullen.

“Exaggerating you say? My body hurts all over, you know! You…!"

Hailey didn't argue with her anymore. After Camilla got drunk, her body felt weird. It's strange that she didn't feel pain when she moved!

  "Okay, okay, let's talk first!"

  "I haven't changed my clothes!"

"It's okay, it’s not a big deal! Come on!"

  Not a big deal?

Hailey pulled Camilla through the gate of the house, hailed a taxi and hurried back to the city.

On the way, Hailey revealed the information about the sponsor.

"Your uncle? I don't even know your uncle! We've never met before, right? Is that all right?”

"I know my uncle! And you know me. That means my uncle knows you! Let him help us, we just have to tell him! There's no need to worry about that,” Hailey said proudly.

“But isn't your uncle always overseas? Is he here now?"

Camilla had never seen Hailey’s uncle. The house she lived in last night was the man's house. Hailey's uncle was out of the country all year round and rarely went home. Sometimes, her and Camilla would go there to stay late at night.

“He returned to Indonesia last week, do you think it was a coincidence? I talked to him this morning, and he happens to be in town for business. My uncle is really kind! Hehe!"

Camilla just found out how much Hailey admired her uncle.

"Oh, yeah!"Hailey nudged Camilla. “Why did you sleep in my uncle's room last night?"

"Ah? Maybe it was because I was drunk that I just walked into the room... What should I do with it? You said he’s a clean freak right?”

When Camilla was drunk last night, not only did she sleep on the man's bed, she also put on his pajamas.

“It's okay, my uncle hasn't come home yet. We’ll sneak there before midnight. We just need to talk to him and we'll be fine. We won't get caught if we change the sheets and everything!"

Hailey patted Camilla on the shoulder, encouraging her. She was trying to make her trust her plan and not worry about everything.

Along the way, Hailey constantly praised her uncle and talked about how handsome the man was. Though Camilla patiently listened to it, she didn’t actually take her seriously. She just ignored all of Hailey's words.

She thought that Hailey was so chatty like an old man!

But when Hailey took her to the agreed cafe and saw the "old" man with the small face and subtle but deep facial features for the first time…

“Hello,” the man greeted them with his elegant demeanor.

The first impression that Camilla had for him was that he wasn’t that handsome, but looked familiar in her eyes!

He was wearing a white shirt and a knitted beige vest combined with a long black coat that looked simple and stylish.

He sure looked familiar. Had they ever...?

When Camilla saw him, her eyes met with Jason's eyes. Those empty gazes shocked her a little.

That man… where had she seen him before? Could she have met him somewhere?

Jason had been a businessman for years. His face looked like it didn’t have any emotions. Even when he had doubts in his heart, Jason didn’t seem to show it.

"Are you Camilla? Hailey often talks about you. Don't hesitate, sit down."

When he spoke like that, Camilla suddenly felt a cold chill on her back.

Sitting across him with the table as their barrier didn’t make Camilla ignore Jason. His voice sounded stern but somewhat ambiguous, and the heat from his lips made her speechless. She felt weak as a shiver crept up her skin.

  Jason’s voice... sounded strangely familiar!

What's with this uncle? Had they met before?

"Haha, Uncle. You charmed Camilla with your good looks! See! Her ears are red!” Hailey pointed to Camilla's white ears which now looked red and joked with it.

Camilla hurriedly covered her ears. “Ah. Not really! Don't talk nonsense!"

Jason looked at Camilla slowly and stared at the red ear. He remembered how soft and smooth the girl’s reddened ear, making him bite his lower lip.

"What do you want to drink?” Jason asked.

Camilla then opened the menu. She ordered what she thought was tea named ‘Long Island Tea’.

Hailey immediately said, “A bottle of Long Island Tea with just two blocks of sugar, thank you.”

  “Okay, wait.”

Hailey glanced at Camilla. “Do you still want to drink during the day? Don't get used to it, Camilla. Didn't you get drunk last night? Uncle, Camilla always acts silly and weird every time she is drunk!"

‘How could she say stupid and embarrassing things like that!’ Camilla grumbled inside.

"It's not like that! I just want to drink tea and not a cocktail!” Camilla immediately replied.

Hailey and Jason smiled then looked at each other which made Camilla laugh awkwardly.

"Long Island Tea is the name of a cocktail,” the man suddenly said.

Camilla was embarrassed and her ears were even redder.

‘Shit, is that a cocktail?! Not iced tea?’ She thought in surprise.

"That's because the name of this cocktail sounds the same as other drinks,” Jason said lightly. He gently rubbed the edge of the coffee cup with the porcelain spoon he held in his hand and made a rustling sound.

Camilla's heart trembled. She felt like she had seen this man in his dream. What kind of strange feeling was this?

Hailey’s uncle was in his thirties, which made him thirteen years older than her and literally her senior. But why was hearing his voice made her face blush and her heart flutter?

  Why was she like this?

"Didn't you come to me for sponsorship? Tell me about your club’s problems."

Jason sat across her with his body slightly tilted, while his right leg folded on his left leg. His well-built body and straight posture made him look elegant.

Judging by his age, facial expressions, and experiences that man had, he was very different from Camilla.

Jason was very mature with his sharp eyes, making him look different from Camilla.

Camilla was actually a cheerful and fearless girl.

Somehow, she had to face this man later on. Her own nervousness annoyed her. Or was she still feeling the effect of the hangover last night? Camilla had never felt this strange feeling before.

  "Why are you silent?"

Jason took the coffee cup in front of him and took a sip.
