At the Watson household,

'' Miss Amelia, the client has come to meet you to talk about the project which we will be handling lately '' says her P.A that is Mr.Brooks. '' I am working on it lately. Tell him to come to my room '' replies the woman who was sitting at the table.

She looked through the papers. A knocking was heard on the door. '' Please come '' she replies. '' Ma'am this is the file of the next project which we are working on lately '' said the man opening the door. '' Please sit '' she offers.

'' Where is my P.A ? tell him to come '' she calls. '' I am here but I am here with someone else '' asserts Brook while standing at the doorstep. '' What? who came ? '' she asks. '' You know that we are cooped up with so much work. Stop fooling around '' she remarks.

'' He's not fooling around '' says a gruff and heavy voice from behind. '' That voice?'' she could recognize it immediately. '' I am here. Can't you recognize me? '' replies the man. Amelia gets up from her chair. '' Grandpa '' .

'' How are you doing Amelia ? my granddaughter? '' asks the old man by his side of Brooks. '' I am well why are you standing please sit '' she panics.'' I am here to talk with you about something. You seem to be quite busy. But you need to stop your work '' says the old man glancing overplies of papers on her table.

'' But Ma'am, what about the new project ? '' asks her client. '' That can wait later, you can go now '' says the old man. '' But .. ''. '' No buts go ''. '' You can come again at a later day I will call you '' Amelia dismisses him.

That man leaves right away. '' Grandpa there was no need to be so much rude with him though '' says Amelia '' anyway please sit down ''. '' Huh those people like that come by most of the time no need to worry about that '' says her grandpa sitting down.

'' Anyone here? Amy brings some coffee or herbal tea for grandpa '' Amelia calls. '' Coffe '' replies her grandpa. '' So, May I know what are you here for ? '' asks Amelia. '' First, get out of my sight now '' commands her grandpa.

He was pointing at Brooks. '' But he's my P. A. Why can't he stay here ?''. '' Cause this is our family matter and this should not go out '' asserts the old man. '' I will leave then. Call me if you need anything '' Brooks asserts and lives that instant.

'' Let's get to the point then. How is your business doing ? '' asks the old man. '' As you can see My business is thriving ''. ''' That doesn't seem to be the case for the past few months. I know everything. That's why I am here to give you a proposal. And that will benefit you very much well '' says the old man.

'' What proposal ? '' she asks. '' That is as you already are conscious enough that you are twenty-three years old now and you are an adult who can handle the business all by herself. But as we I mean your grandma and I are very much concerned about your future. We want you to get married and produce an heir within one or two years. One year is the most suitable one though. And if you want we can look for a perfect groom who is suitable for you. Now say what is on your mind ''.

Her mouth was wide open she was shocked to hear that. '' How could you do this? why do you want me to get married now all of a sudden? '' asks Amelia. ''' Cause you need to take over the family as you are the only successor and I need someone to succeed after you also. And you don't seem to have any intention to get married. So I thought that this will be the perfect opportunity for you to marry '' replies the old man.

'' But I don't want to get married just yet. Please try to understand ''. '' Then you won't be able to get any share of the property of mine and I will take over your business from you. Do you want that? '''.

'' No I don't want that but I don't want to get married too. Please why are you doing this? Try to understand my position '' Amelia begs. '' No, but I can try to make up my exception if it's for you. And that is you can search for your husband or groom. You need to get married that's all. And produce an heir to succeed you then you will get everything you want. You can continue with your business as usual ''.

'' Grandpa ''. Then the maid arrives with the coffee. Her grandpa took a sip and left right away. Amelia sat down on the chair. '' Why did this have to happen?'' she thoughts. Looking at the ceiling she was remembering her old days when she was still young.

She got up from the chair and went towards the cupboard. She brought out something in her hands. It was a bracelet that she planned to give to him on the day of the confession. Staring at it deeply she cried a little.
