Aeryn Jenkins is the CEO of his fashion empire, Stormy Fashions. But when Ariana Cutler is hired as a model at the company, Harris is drawn to the beauty. But when word gets out about their blossoming romance, will it cause a scandal within the company? (with a darker scandal & a dangerous boardroom villain)
Chapter 1: The Empire of Glass
Rain lashes against the floor-to-ceiling windows of Stormy Fashions’ headquarters.
Inside, Aeryn Jenkins stands alone in the executive suite—tailored suit, sharp gaze, every inch the man who built an empire from nothing.
Below him, the city glows.
Behind him, the boardroom doors open.
“Impressive as always, Aeryn,” a voice purrs.
Lucien Voss.
Board member. Investor. Predator in a tailored coat.
His smile is too slow. Too knowing.
“You’ve built something extraordinary,” Lucien adds. “It would be a shame if… instability threatened it.”
Aeryn doesn’t turn.
“Stormy doesn’t bend,” he says coldly.
Lucien’s eyes gleam.
“Everything bends eventually.”
Chapter 2: The Audition
Bright lights. Polished floors. Dozens of models.
Ariana Cutler stands among them—out of place in the best way. No arrogance. No artificial perfection.
Just presence.
“Next,” the casting director calls.
Ariana steps forward.
She walks—not perfectly—but with emotion. With life.
Aeryn, watching from the shadows above, leans forward slightly.
Something about her feels… real.
She stumbles for half a second.
Recovers.
Smiles.
And in that moment—
She owns the room.
Aeryn’s voice cuts through the silence:
“Sign her.”
Lucien, watching from the corner, narrows his eyes.
Chapter 3: The First Collision
Aeryn’s office is quiet. Controlled.
Ariana stands across from him, trying not to fidget.
“You’re not trained,” he says.
“No,” she admits. “But I learn fast.”
A beat.
“And you don’t intimidate easily.”
A small smile.
“Should I be intimidated?”
Their eyes lock.
Something shifts.
Aeryn steps closer—just slightly.
“You should be careful,” he says quietly.
Ariana tilts her head.
“Of what?”
A pause.
“Of me.”
But neither of them moves away.
Chapter 4: Watching Eyes
From the glass hallway outside—
Lucien watches everything.
The tension. The proximity. The way Aeryn—normally untouchable—lingers.
Lucien pulls out his phone.
Snaps a photo.
Blurry.
Suggestive.
Not enough yet.
But it will be.
He smirks.
“Let’s see how strong your empire really is…”
Chapter 5: The Rain Scene
Late-night shoot.
Thunder rolls outside.
Ariana stands under artificial rain, dress clinging, eyes fierce.
“Feel it!” the photographer shouts.
She does.
Not the fake rain.
The real storm inside her.
Aeryn watches from the shadows, completely still.
She turns—
Their eyes meet.
Everything else disappears.
After the shoot, the room empties.
Just the two of them.
Rain still falling.
“You were incredible,” Aeryn says.
“You were watching.”
“I couldn’t look away.”
Silence.
Then—
She steps closer.
He shouldn’t.
He knows he shouldn’t.
But when she whispers, “Then don’t,”
He doesn’t.
Their kiss is sudden. Intense. Like a dam breaking.
Outside—
Lightning strikes.
Inside—
Something far more dangerous begins.
