"Saleh, please don't leave me. You are the only one I have! Please Saleh! I have no one but you. If you die now I'm doomed, I have no one." Saleh looked her, his eyes felt heavy. He smiled sadly, he knew it was time for him to go. He slowly raised his hand up. With his fingers, he cleaned her tears. He shook his head meaning; the tears is enough.

She laid her head on his chest, whimpering more. "You have been the best husband ever. You were there when everyone has turned their backs at me. You were there to console me when I lost my parents. You're the only one I have. Saleh if you die now where do you want me to go? How do you want me to live? Please I can't live without you." Her body shook. With the strength he had left, he wrapped his arms around his wife. A tear rolled down his cheek.

"I have no one but you. Please don't die," she whispered, sobbing. He slowly patted her back. He wished he could talk. He wished he could tell her everything was going to be alright even after he was gone. He wished he could tell her how much he loved her and cherished her. He silently cried and prayed to Allah to make everything easy for her.

He started gasping for air. She raised her head touching his face. Panicking, "Saleh? No, no please." She shook her head, wailing.

  La ilaha illallah!

"Saleh?! Saleh?!" She shook his shoulders. His eyes were open, he was smiling. She touched his face, "Saleh please look at me, please no don't die. Innalillahi wa'inna ilaihir rajiun." She scrambled up and ran outside.

"Someone help me please!" She screamed around the compound. The people around started coming out to see what's happening. "Roomaan? What happened? What's going on? Where's Saleh?" Their neighbor asked. "Habibu please help me! Saleh, he's dead." She knelt down, her hands on her head. "Innalillahi Wainna ilaihir rajiun." They all whispered.

The men around brought him out of the house. She still didn't believe her husband was dead. She was still kneeling down there when habibu's wife, Rahmerh came to her, "Roomaan, surely Allah takes what's His and what He gives is His and to all things, He has appointed time. Have patience and be rewarded. Kowa lokacinsa yake jira. His time has come, pray for him." She consoled, patting her back. Rahmerh's words really touched her heart.

She looked at the woman, "he's the only one I had and now he's gone. I can't bear the pain of losing him. I don't have anyone."

"UmmuRoomaan you have Allah, you have us. We're all going to be here with you. In sha Allah." She assured her. Roomaan watched as the men of their neighborhood walked out with her husband. She burst into new sets of tears. "No! Don't take him away please!" She wailed running towards them. Rahmerh held her firm.

"Leave me alone please!!" She yelled freeing herself from Rahmerh's hold. Roomaan knew she would faint when her chest gave out. It felt like her heart was being replaced by some kind of black hole. Then nausea crept from her heart to her head and the world went black.
