Everytime you think of something, you always reach different conclusions. Either it's favorable for you or not, you still do.

For example, your mind daunted to someone. You think he's great, handsome and what all a man should be. In other words, your dream man.

When I think about the phrase, I tend to overthink. What is the basis of a perfect man? Badboy, Rebel?

No. There's no such thing as a perfect man. But if you'd make it as a perfect man for you, there is one.

He's not really perfect, neither flawless. Not everything you want is in him, but he can give you more than all of that.

One thing that damages a person's perspective towards another person, is its flaws. Everyone has one. But not everyone can accept your flaws. But that someone for you, he can. Whatever it is, he will.

But there's one problem. When will he come? Which one is he?

You will never know. You will be the one to choose it yourself.

You are the one who will decide who is the right man, the perfect one for you. You have the right to choose. And to choose, you have to listen. Listen closely. To your heart.

"Malice." I turned to my left. Even though grumpy, he's looks still scream a very handsome bachelor.

"Take care. Though I want to send you guards, the school won't allow me. Are you going to be okay?" I smiled with his thoughtful remark. He's still so protective of me. I'm going to be eighteen in months, yet he still treats me like a pre-schooler.

He's this worried with me, because after missing a whole school year, here I am again, infront of my old school.

"I'm going to be fine, Kuya. See you later." He nodded before I went out. I smiled from ear to ear. Hello, my dear Olympian.

I closed the door and walked slowly towards the gate. Some gazed towards me, and some passed me quickly.

I pulled my identification card from my skirt's pocket. I stared at it and smiled. My picture there was my 10th grade self. I look much younger than now.

Approaching the sentinel, I handed my card. I entered the campus safe and sound.

I roamed my gaze to where my eyes can reach. The school buildings turned dark blue, the signs were renewed, the formation of flowers were differed. Past year and many have changed.

Am I the only one who don't?

I approached the hallway where our lockers are located. Many looked at my way and I managed to pretend I didn't know. I opened my old locker and placed my afternoon class' books.

Someone patted my back a bit harsh. I turned around to see an angry and pissed woman looking unprepared for the first day of school.

"Why are you here?" She asked with his forehead creased. I smiled a bit and sighed.

"I'm not going be homeschooled for another year again, Nathalia. This is my last year in highschool, please." She rolled her eyes and opened her locker. Even so, it did not make her any less attractive.

"Let's go." She commanded and started walking. I followed her, asking things about her summer. Travelling is one of her hobbies. She usually spends her vacation days travelling to different countries. And her shaggy look at school is caused by it. She travels nonstop and most likely arrived just now from whatever country she last went to.

"I'm surprised you entered the first day of school. What made you do so?" Her finger pointed the vending machine near the cafeteria before staring at me darkly.

"Some bitch called Yuen told me you're attending the school year. I don't want some crazy ass running after you here." I frowned.

"Your mouth, Nathalia." Ngumuso siya. "You don't really have to but thank you for the concern. And I think we should do something with what you look right now." She continuously pressed buttons and harshly grabbed the coffee can.

"What?" Irritatedly, she opened the can of coffee and straightly drank it.

"Your hair screams I haven't been washed for days. And you look like a complete sober." She looked at the glass wall of the cafeteria.

"I just came from Spain. And someone made me stay up all night and almost miss my Second-Class flight!" She angrily spat. A business-class flight is enough to make Nathalia mad. She's so thrifty yet she hates non-superiour things.

"Oh? You have a boyfriend?" I can see her cheeks pumping more blood than usual, either because of the heat or her feelings.

"I don't. And its not what you're thinking." I stared at her doubtingly. "What?"

"What?" I replied back, making her roll her eyes and crush the coffee can with her feet. The dean passed by us, staring deeply at Nathalia.

"Loitering is probihited in this school, Miss Ryu. Throw it in the trash can beside you." The dean said with the utmost commanding voice. She stared at the dean with authority. Shouldn't it be the other way around?

"Don't command me, you ass." My eyes widened. Did she just call the dean an ass?

Everyone around us was astounded. The dean's jaw dropped hard. I quickly bowed my head to apologize.

"I'm sorry for Nathalia's actions, Director." He looked away due to embarrassment and nodded. Nathalia pulled me and started walking. To her, this is just a normal shut-the-hell-up day. But to the dean, and students who witnessed it including me, this is a life-changing day.

Everytime this happens

this is not the first time, of course

I always think of Nathalia from the past years. I'm used to this attitude, but I still wonder why, when she wasn't like this in the first place.

She needs to see someone professional, I thought. But I can't bring her randomly, she'll freak out. Someone needs to convince her. And neither of us can't. But she has to say what's made her like this.

"Don't apologise, Malice. I hate seeing you bowing." I smiled. Even with a bit of anger issues, Nathalia's a soft loving friend.

"Just promise me you won't humiliate the dean or anyone else older than you like that again. Okay?" Groaning, she nodded.

Olympian High always conduct an opening ceremony hosted by the dean. One of its objectives is to avoid isolation of the newly enrolled students and transferees by letting them introduce themselves in the crowd. Before that, Nathalia parted ways to fix her hair. I roamed around the school even when its – wide. I was a bit tired when I reached a familiar place.

Covered with bushes, a rusty gate was found. I presumed someone was there with how the gate was closed. It was the old garden, where Nathalia and I usually eat our lunch because she hates eating in the noisy cafeteria.

My eyes widened at a certain thought. Maybe the garden served as a rendezvous to some high school couples for the past year?

I covered my mouth. I hid beside the wall while peeking at some parts of the garden. There can't be, right? There are other spots to meet randomly with you lover, but not this garden. They'll call it disgusting, while Nathalia will call it unholy.

I sighed when no one was to be found. I stood up and started walking. Smiling at the old garden's unprecedented beauty, I was amazed on how it abstractly moved into aesthetic. Even though abandoned, the beauty of the place was still kept undoubtingly.

Some pause button was pressed unto me when I reached my favorite part of the garden; the shade of an unidentified tree. I was in awe, seeing someone laying under the shade of the tree peacefully.

As if the time stopped, the sun and moon collided, and Adonis came to the mortal beings' land to rest for a while. There was, an American boy next door in his blue hoodie, laying in the cold ground asleep.

My feet was glued to where I'm standing. How did he discover this place?

I slowly walked to him. It was like a cliché fairy tale story. Cinderella meets the prince. Snow white being kissed by the prince but the other way around. Just like a disney film.

I stopped midway. No. I should probably just go. But my mind thought otherwise when I saw his tears streaming down his face. I suddenly felt a crack in my chest. I felt his pain.

I flinched when I saw myself wiping his tears. I didn't think twice and walked towards him. I sat down beside him and slowly lifted my hand.

As I wipe his tears, he opened his eyes. I froze when I came across his ocean eyes. It was mesmerizing. And I was mesmerized.

His mouth opened a bit. I immediately pulled away from him. What are you thinking! He's a random stranger!

"I'm so sorry! I shouldn't have done that!" I panickily muttered. He stood up and alas, I felt small at 5'7.

I avoided his gaze. It was a moment before I got to stare at him. My eyes widened when I saw him smiled when I decided to look at him. I noticed his baggy eyes. He must've gotten no sleep. Poor guy.

"It's okay." His baritone tone sent me shivers. Nostalgia. Like a past life thing.

"I'm really, really sorry! Oh my god," I hysterically said. I bowed my head while apologizing.

My eyes widened when he lifted my face up gently. Like he was so used to it. His eyes was struck by the sunlight that emphasized it. He was utterly gorgeous, after all.

"Angel..." He whispered, with eyes like a hawk gawking at me.

"Angel?" I asked.

"You look like one."
