Some things existed, when we least expect them to.

"Run, and never look back, Emy!"

My legs felt sore. The smell of burning flesh, blood, and the smoke had almost made me nauseous. I lost count of how long had I stay awake only to be meet with another doom. Clamors right there, and then. Corpses lie to where I was before.

My head is spinning. I was at lost. With fear-striken face, I whispered a quick prayer before pushing my legs to run away from the chaos. The growls made my ears shattered. The fear doubles. Loud thuds took my breathe in fear that one beast would just pounce out of nowehere, and shred my flesh into pieces.

I am mortified to what fate awaits me between this war.

"You will never get away from me! You little bitch!" The ferociousness coming from the voice made me shiver.

I know that the promising threat would come into life as a horror. I knew the madness that the owner had for me. I'll be taken, and tortured - if not, keep only to suffer from the misery they brought even to their own people. Agonizing that I'll wish for doom to be at my service.

And believe me when I say that I've never been so scared - put into a predicament of life, and death, not until I was thrown to the world I never knew co-exist along with humans.

"A-ack!" I let out a loud yelp, when my ankles caught up with a corpse I failed to notice.

It's a beast. Tongue-lolled out, and eyes reddish in color, but gauge by something that was sharp similar to its claws. Blood covered its fur. Lifeless orbs stared back at me. I can tell how much it suffer from its injury that its ability to regenerate haven't help it to survive death's psycthe when he visits. Pitiful, but I knew the wolf lying on its despicable nature.

Whoever it might be, I knew the cruelty he had carried all along, when he is alive. A rouge had always never meant a good news.

My train of thoughts were cut off by another howl.

I lifted my head. I wanted to runaway again, but my legs wouldn't let me. I felt tired - frustrated, scared, and I was starving. Why am I taken? Have I done something wrong in my life to be in this place? Is it because I've been loathing my father for so long just because he left my mother? It doesn't make sense. He deserves all the hate conform inside my head.

My eyes watered. What have I done?

And so it landed to the massive beast that was no more than far from where I was. He is too large unlike the rest. His eyes were much sharper. His limbs seems to be more stronger as it crushed anybody who dare lay a hand on him. His canines took a chunk of flesh from his enemy without mercy, and I let out a blood-curdling scream.

Our eyes meet. His - stone-cold orbs that promise death, while mine, I am sure the fear it shows that my consciousness were slowly drifting away from my graps.

But I am sure of one thing.

It is all HIS fault.
