Lorelei's POV

I curled my long eyelashes, put nude lipstick on, and smiled at the mirror. I'm so undeniably gorgeous. I fixed my short hair in a soft curl to add some design. I stood up and took a last glance at myself. I'm wearing a satin maroon dress. Tonight's gonna be my night.

I walked outside my room here in the bar and greeted my crews and staff who's busy in the kitchen.

"You look amazing, Miss." I smiled at Chiz, the bartender.

"Hey, how about the tables? Did you arranged it already?" I asked Paul and he nods at me.

"Yes, Ma'am."

"Listen, everyone! They're gonna be here in a minute so enjoy and do your jobs alright?"

"Yes, let's get it on!" they all said in unison.

I walked all the way to the entrance to greet people there. In a minute, my friends started coming over.

"Oh, my G!! You looked fabulous Lori!" I kissed her cheeks.

"Thanks, Hailey, you look better on your blonde hair! Go sit upstairs, the VIP one. I'm gonna meet you all there!" she looks so excited

"Okay!!" I called one of my crew to assist her.

"Lorelei?!" I looked at the newcomer..

"Selene? Omg, you arrived early huh??" we hugged each other, omg I miss this girl.

"Oh since when did I came late??" I rolled my eyes and instructs her to the VIP.

"Hey" I greeted others who are coming. Some say hi, and other guys give me small gifts.

I looked inside and saw how many people came over. I called the guards to replace me here so I can talk to my friends.

I greeted some of the people who are dancing with beers on their hands.

I go upstairs and saw my friends chatting while laughing and stopped when they saw me. I sat beside them and we make a toast.

"Lori, I haven't seen you for years but you didn't even grow taller!" they laugh and I rolled my eyes. Yeah, I'm not a height person. Just 5'5.

"You're ruining my night Hail" I chuckled.

"Soo, are you dating someone?" Selene asked.

"Who's dating who!?" we all looked at where the voice and saw one of my besties!

"Keiri! You're late again!" I exclaimed and kiss her on the cheeks.

"Traffic." we all groaned in disbelief. That's her reason always.

"I just broke up with the previous one." I sat and poured wine on my glass.

"Why?"

"Well, don't find him interesting anymore." they laughed at me

"You really get tired of men easily HAHAHA"

"How about you Selene, I heard you're dating someone," Hailey said.

"Oh yeah, Nick." she smiled and took a sip and her wine

" Omg, Nick the Nerd?" Keiri said and I shook my head. Lol, her mouth is so unstoppable.

"Yeah HAHA why not? he's nice and cute." I quite felt jealous but Nah.

“HAHAHA, I still remember the days that you were so disgusted in him.” Said Hailey.

“Well, people change.” We all laugh.

“Okay ladies!” we all looked at Keiri when she stood up and clap her hands to get our attention.

“Oh here we go again,” Selene said.

“I beet this is going to be disastrous every time you do that Kei,” Hailey said, that’s true. Keiri is the mastermind of all the dares and bets.

“To make this night more wonderful, let’s add up some spice!” we groaned.

“Oh god, I’m so into it but I still feel nervous!” I said and laughed.

"Hey, Lori." I glanced at Keiri when she called me.

"See that guy over there?" she pointed down at the people dancing.

"Where?" I asked.

"On the table beside Martin's!" I looked at what she said and saw a couple of men. Some are wearing casual but this guy caught my attention. He's wearing a damn suit, in a bar?!!

"The guy in a suit?" I said out of nowhere.

"Ding!" they all said and I looked at them all confused.

"I'll bet half a million," Selene said proudly.

"Same here." Haily winked at me! What the hell are they talking about?

"I'll bet my new baby, Lamborghini," Kei said and took a sip.

"What??" I was laughing cause I don't know what they're talking about!!

"Seduce him, girl!" Kei and Hailey said.

I looked at the guy again and my eyes widened because he's looking at me! No, not looking but staring! I didn't take my eyes off him. What? He's good for my eyes. That tall nose, blue eyes, hair brushed off, and his freaking eyeglasses make him hotter!

The fuck are you looking at?? I said to myself.

"Omg, he's looking at you!!!"

"Kyaaaa!!! ~" I covered my ears when they started screaming.

"Hey, tone down!!" I took a sip at my wine and stood up.

"Gotta go, ladies!" I winked at them and they just gave me a smile.

I walked down the stairs while I'm inhaling and exhaling. Why am I nervous? I'm an expert at this though Gosh Lori!!

"Hey, want one?" I looked at Chiz when he offered me a glass of tequila.

Maybe that'll calm me down so I drank it and wave bye at him.

Many girls came to have a small talk with me so I'm getting dizzy but I can still handle my alcohol. I saw him listening to his friends while they talk about something. He really looked so serious. They started laughing and I saw him smiled a little! Oh my God, I felt my heart beating so fast as I walk towards him.

"Uh, guys," the other guy said and look at me awkwardly.

"Oh, Lorelei? The gorgeous owner!" I smiled at him as he stood up and kiss me on my cheeks. Whoa. I know him, Aziel?

"Hi," the other guys said. I looked at him but he just looked past me. What the hell? Why can't u look at me?

"Are you enjoying the night gentlemen?" I said to caught his attention but he just took a sip at his beer.

"Yeah, of course, this bar looks amazing. We can come here often, right Zach?" the guy in a casual said to this guy in a suit. So his name is Zach.

Zach just shrugged and looked at the dance floor. Fuck it, he didn't even take a glance at me.

"Uh, do you wanna sit here?" I guess this is Aziel. I looked so dumb standing in front of them so I said yes. He offered his seat beside him so I sat already.

I feel uncomfortable, I saw his eyes looked at my side! But he quickly changed his vision, grr!

"Do you wanna dance?" I looked at Aziel when he asked me! I want to but not with you damn it.

I just nod at him then he offered his hands to me so I accepted it anyway. We went to the dance floor and he started dancing to the music.. I saw my crew offering drinks so I quickly grab one and bottoms up it. Alcohol took over my body so I suddenly started dancing with him. I was laughing like crazy as we enjoy the beat.

"You're beautiful!" I heard him say so I said thanks!

I saw his lips saying something but I can't hear him because of the loud music. I move a little closer to him to hear what he's saying.

"What??" I put my ear near his mouth to hear but he suddenly breathes on me so I feel uneasy. He put his arms on my waist.

"Hey, wait." I was lowkey getting off with him but I can't damn.

I looked at their table and to my surprise, I saw him looking at me intensely. I stared at him while I'm trying to get off with this guy.

"Hey, get off," I said and he finally let go of me.

"I'm sorry!" I just gave him a small smile. He's cute though but I'm not into cute guys.

I looked at his side again and saw him stood up and walked away. What?

"Sorry but I gotta go. Enjoy the night!" I walked away from him and follow Eli! Every girl is looking at him when he walks past by them.

I feel irritated.

I saw him walk towards the small room where people can smoke. Does he smoke??

I opened the door and was about to walk fast to follow him but I stopped when I saw him leaning on the wall near the doorway. He took a glance at me and took out a cigarette and put it in his mouth without lighting it though. That looks hot. I leaned on the wall too near him but still gave him a small space.

"Uhm hi?" I break the silence.

"Why you here?" Oh he talks, I'll be damned.

"It's my bar?" I smiled and look at him. There are other people here who are smoking but only a few. Mostly are guys.

Silence took over for a minute. God, help me.

"So, do you have a girlfriend?" I asked him suddenly. Well, if he has then I'm not gonna continue this bet. I'm not a bitch. Screw his girlfriend though, this one’s hella hot.

"Do you think I do?" he took of the cigarette on his mouth and just lean on the wall.

"I think you do..” he looked at me so I met his gaze

“.. only if you asked me out." I looked down feeling shy and that’s when I heard him chuckled.
