Mu Chuxia lay on the operating table with her eyes wide open, the cold sensation from the metal table pricking her skin. Although she was drugged and could not feel any pain, she could feel that something had reached into her groin... She did not even need to look to know that it was a doctor's scalpel.

She stared at the ceiling, but the blinding light fazed her. She narrowed her eyes as they began to feel sore.

She took a fancy to a dress meant to protect pregnant bellies from radiation. Mu Chuxia loved the design and quality of the dress. The saleswoman could tell that Mu Chuxia had her eyes on it, so she did not bother promoting the dress. Mu Chuxia was very tempted to get it for herself, but once she looked at the price tag dangling from the hanger, her eyes widened in shock. 

It was just a dress, but it cost 5,000 yuan!

Mu Chuxia blushed awkwardly and turned to the saleswoman while stammering, "I—It's too expensive..."

Madam Wang turned around and smiled at Mu Chuxia. "You're back! Have a seat. A few more dishes and I'll be done. We have an extra mouth to feed today." She winked gleefully.

Mu Chuxia was startled. She stumbled back a step before she widened her eyes and sized up the man carefully. He was a tall man, donning a black suit. He inserted his hands into the pockets of his trousers casually as he stared at her. It was as if there was some sort of overwhelming power emanating from his body. Mu Chuxia, who was standing in front of him, could not help but clench her teeth in fright. She did not dare to even breathe!
