Her parents are George Carter and Sophia Carter, her younger brother is Tristian, her Grandfather is Joe, Joseph Carter. They are respectable people they have their hotel business. It's not as big as the Grey empire but they are one among the respectable families in the society.

Boston, Grey's Office,

Ashton enters the magnificent office, checking the messages on phone, he along with his family were in Boston to attend a wedding ceremony although he was clearly not interested and didn't intend to attend it. His grandmother and his younger brother along his fiancee attended the wedding. Her motive was also bride hunting so that a docile girl comes into the house and can cope wid Ashton's anger and tantrums. Ashton has time and again refused marriage proposals found by his grandmother as he doesn't want to get married so early. Michelle met with an old friend of hers Joseph Carter. Although Michelle was in touch with the Carters ,She met them almost after nine years, both friends were happily catching up. When Amelia came and asked them for the starters ,that's when they realised it was almost lunch time. Michelle was very impressed with Amelia's beauty and her caring and lively nature. Michelle wished her grand daughter in law to be someone like Amelia. An idea striked her mind, Michelle discussed the thought with Joe,George and Sophia. They were glad about the alliance, but George and Sophia wanted to discuss it with their daughter first. Michelle wanted his grandson to be married, she wanted him to love someone again, she wanted him to comeout of his small world, She wished for him to be happy, as watever happened in the past was not his fault, but he was not ready to let go. She decided it's high time she interfered in his life.

Ashton returned to New York the next day,. His grandmother stayed back in Boston, Damien and Natallie went to Vegas. Joseph was more than happy about the alliance, he knew Ashton was a sincere hardworking good man, George and Sophia were also convinced, but Amelia didn't want to get married so soon, she wanted to achieve so much in life, she wanted to puruse her dreams but being an obedient child she was, she agreed to the marriage seeing her Grandfather and her parents so happy. But the naughty girl inside her wanted to refuse, she thought of talking to Ashton once when she gets to meet him. She wanted to try talking to him so that he can refuse this marriage. The next day Michelle met the Carters, Michelle assured Amelia that she can pursue her college even after marriage and she was allowed to work after her graduation. She didn't know much about Ashton.

Michelle was sure that her grandson won't agree for this marriage, Michelle didn't tell anyone about Ashton's straight forward refusal for marriage. She thought once she find a girl, she will force him to marry her somehow, she made a plan, she goes to the local nursing home in the evening sets the first step of her plan. Then she calls Ashton. She asked him in a very low voice- how are you dear? Ashton knew his grandmother was not young anymore but she was quite an handfull. He replied to her question then disconnected the call saying he was busy and he will call back later.

Michelle was hell bent on bringing his grandson back to Boston,. she asked for the Doctor from the same nursing home which she visited the day before. The doctor arranges everything she asked for in her hotel room. She called Damien and Natallie and informed them about her plan, they also arrived as soon as Michelle called them.

The next day Ashton received a call from Damien informing that Michelle fainted, doctor was called to the hotel and she refuses to go to a hospital.

Ashton arrived Boston as soon as he got the news, Michelle was happy her plan was working. She winked at Damien and Natallie, they started giggling. They also felt bad for Ashton as he came running hearing the news, which was fake. He saw Dam n Nat in his grandmother's hotel suite room, Ashton enters the room. Sees michelle with iv lying on bed. he panicks doesn't care to see anyone else.he was angry that she is not willing to go to a hospital, when asked Michelle insisted that she will go the hospital only if he agrees for a marriage.

Dr- she is stressed. Her Pulse is low and she is very weak, please don't make her talk so much. She needs rest.

Ash - I will take her to Newyork.

Michelle glares at the doctor....idiot..then she winks at Damien. He slightly nods understanding her grandma and asked,

Damien - dr is it safe to travel in this condition ?...glaring at him,

Dr- No,no it's not safe to travel in her condition,

And absolutely no stress, so you people please take care of her and follow the prescribed medication, he gave some vitamin pills.and let her take plenty of rest, always make her happy.

Natallie takes over from there. she starts to weep,, " Grandma ways the matter, why are you feeling so stressed and restless..Don't worry grandma hereafter we will listen watever you say, even Damien will start going to office,

Damien was shocked hearing it

and Ashton will spend more time with you, is that what u want? Please let us know, she slants towards Ashton and Natallie moves a little to make place for Ashton . He comes near his grandmother, kneels down near the bed hurriedly and says- grandm please tell me what is your problem I will try to solve it. I promise.

He loved his grandma way too much and was swayed by seeing her in such condition.

Grandma slowly sat on her bed with the help of both her grandsons, she took Damien's and Natallie's hand holdes it together n told them with a single tear in her eye that she wants to see her grand grand son or grand grand daughter soon, Natallie blushed ,Damien started scrathing the back of his head. Then Michelle turned towards Ashton asked him to sit near her took his hand into hers and asked him to marry.

Receiving no response from Ashton n seeing him into deep thoughts she sighed n saw Dam n Nat, when they both winked she again acted as if she was going to faint, her head was feeling dizzy. Seeing this the doctor told both the grandsons that it's nothing unusual watever the grandmother wished for, it's completely normal , then why are they stressing her? He further told them small small happiness matter at the old age, it works wonders than any medicines . Hearing this Ashton agreed to marry.. he said ok grandma, as you wish I will marry any girl of your choice. It's a promise.

Michelle, Damien, Natallie were very happy, the doctor was about to leave both the grandsons went till the door to see him off, meanwhile grandma thanked Natallie for her splendid performance, both the ladies stopped giggling on hearing the footsteps.
