The phone ring all the sudden. Emily picks up the call and it was from Nathan. Her handsome and dreamy childhood friend Nathan. He wants to talk about something important, Emily looks at the call, and it is 7 am in the morning on Saturday. She was half as sleep, she listens to Nathan, like they are the only one in the world.

She can listens to Nathan all day long. But the call from the other side became silent all the sudden,

“Emily?” Nathan repeat, are you you listening to me ? You seem very quiet, and you didn’t answer my question. Emily quickly snaps out of her dreamy world, as she answer”

Sorry what is it ?”. Nathan sigh a bit and asked her the same question “ so are you free today? I want to see you and there is something I need to talk to you about, shall we meet at the usual spot around 10 am ok?” Before Emily could answer, Nathan hangup.

Emily smile, as she thinks to herself, why does he want to see me ? Maybe it’s about the university project ?, and he is somewhat always selfish and always bossing me around a bit but what can I do when I am in love with him for the past 10 years, I guess I should try to get ready since he will be there soon.

Emily quickly puts on a soft elegant makeup, she looks around in her room, to pick out what’s she going to wear, she can’t decide what she wants to wear and the clock ticks quickly. Before she knows it, it is already 9:30 am. She yells, “Oh no, I’ll be late”. She picks up her white dress and braid her hair quickly. She grabs her jacket since it is cold. She puts on her shoes and bag. She left the house without thinking much about what’s going to be await for her.

She arrives at the cafe and Nathan wasn’t there, so she order hot latte and no sugar for him and as for herself she got a cup of hot tea with pancakes.

People around her stare at her as she slowly put the hair back behind her ear. Many guys notice how elegant and beautiful she is. The white dress make her look like a process in the white snow and her full glossy lips looks like an apple and her soft pale pink cheeks make her look fragile, and doll. At her department she has many admire and chaser from guys and girls as well. But she never notice any of it since she has always been in love with Nathan. Sometime guys wouldn’t dare to come near her since Nathan is major star and idol among guys and girls. They are perfect match for each other yet, Nathan never seen her anything more than friend and always protected her from bullies, stalkers and harassments.

Emily is small and slim, she has good portion of body size, her long black hair makes many girls jealous. She slowly drinks her tea and read her favorite book about traveling. She has been planning to travel to an island in the neighboring country when summer comes in a few months. She smiles slowly and knock the tea cup on the floor, which made her alarm and as she slowly turn around there are already five different guys already there to help her.

Sorry, I’ll pay for the tea cup and I didn’t mean to, sorry” she slowly bows and she is very kind and sincere person so many people love her.

People around her admire how kind and sorryful she is feeling that made the manager of the cafe came out and saw the scene. At first he was going to tell then, he saw Emily, he lower his voice in a calm manner, “ it’s alright, don’t worry about it, in fact are you hurt?” She smiles “ I am not hurt, I am sorry for breaking this beautiful teacup”. Everyone around her smile and look at her with wanting to protect and save her and take her far away to a safe place

Around 10:30 am, a guy came into a shop that is tall and handsome, he was wearing simple black shirt with long trousers as his hair is slightly messy but nice face with a good smile. He looks at the scene and notice Emily surrounding by many people. He quickly walks over to her and wondering if she is hurt.

Emily notice Nathan, since he is tall and making many girls eyes wonder to the door quickly. She quickly thanks everyone and went back to her seat. The manager brought her new cup of tea. Nathan sat next to her and look at her finger,” you got hurt again didn’t you?” He slowly checks her finger and saw a cut that was bleeding a bit.

He takes out his wallet and there is a picture of them, when they were young. She smiles and looks at Nathan softly and making her heart beat fast. “ I am alright, don’t worry about it” she quickly takes her hand back from Nathan after he put a bandage on her cut.

She smiles at Nathan “ so what do you want to talk to me about that you called me at 7 am in the morning ?”
