As I am on my way home with the Sun slowly rising from its cave, hitting my pale skin as it slowly stings. I can't help that every step I take feels as if I was carrying thousands of blocks on my back. That I can barely carry my own shoulder in good posture.

I sighed, "I shouldn't have drunk too much... I really shouldn't have", as I looked at the sky, slowing brightening for the Sun it about to sit its throne.

I chuckled, "What would it be like? To have endless dollars? To obtain power that in one glance people will beg you for mercy?", I sighed and gazed at the seemingly unending dark alley that later will be consumed by the light.

"Looks like I'm still the only person walking here which is pretty normal and my routine now. Although it's nice and chill, still I seek to walk with someone... but I know that that won't be happening to me, at least", I chuckled.

As I walked along the dark alley having my head floating from I don't know where I didn't realize that I was already past my house if it were for the familiar man that I just had landed my eyes upon.

I whispered to myself, "Why does he look so familiar? I saw him, at least, somewhere. Wait, could it be? No, it can't be, right?"

I was about to talk and punch him yet it didn't let my clumsiness empower me so I just watched him walking, jogging perhaps towards the sh—

"Wait, why would he go there? I mean, that can't be right, right?", I asked myself, puzzled and reluctant to follow his steps to the place where it all began, where we began.

Out of curiosity, I followed him, stealthy, to the shore but I wasn't prepared to what or who I will encounter. And as I followed him, I noticed how dim the lights were. Slowly losing their darkness as we forward to the sea. But wait, he suddenly slowed his pace as if he already knew th—

"Wait, is he waiting for me?", I asked myself in a whisper.

As if he controlled the sea breeze, it tingled on the back of my spine, warning me and telling me to stop and just go home. But I can't just let this guy getaway, not now.

Ignoring what I felt, still I tried my best to follow without being noticed and as he was already near the shoreline, he looked back or should I say, he looked at me? Our eyes met and while it's intact, I sense something, something that I can't put description upon.

I breathed heavily, my eyes widen in shock, and as I held my hand close to my heart that felt as if it stopped beating, he suddenly smiled.

He smiled at me. And slowly, he opened his mouth, telling me something, something that only he and the wind would know.

Suddenly, "...turtledove...", I heard a word, the word that I only heard from him.

He then shifted his gaze to the seemingly endless ocean while having the smile on its lips that I wished I could've read or heard what he said. He opened his arms as if waiting for the ocean to hug him.

I sat behind the bush, staring at him for every movement he does. As if right on track, the light slowly devoured the darkness that once filled the vast ocean.

He smiled even more and looked back at me as if reaching his hand to mine. Little did I know, under his gaze that looks as if the cosmos lived in it, I was already in his embrace. I was already in contact with him.

"A contact that I longed for since the life I was given.

A contact that I know will seem like a dream.

The dream that will never come true in my life.

A life that's full of cruelty and greed.

The contact that had me lost for words..."
