"Deborah, we have raised you for 18 years. For our sake, could you please do us this favor and take the blame for Brisa?"

"She secretly drove the car out of a moment of curiosity. She never expected to hit anyone! Please, Deborah, I'm begging you. Please help Brisa."

"You and Brisa were switched at birth, and Brisa has suffered so much over the years. Now that she has reunited with us, could you bear to see her go to prison?"

It was winter, and it was snowing. At Edeah prison gate, the white snow on the ground had been trampled to mulch by messy footprints.

Deborah Brown kept her head down. She wore a loose prison uniform with ice-cold shackles on her wrists.

She was only 18 years old, but her parents... No, her adoptive parents, had sent her to prison.

The voices of her adoptive parents continued to echo in her ears. In her mind, she could still see her adoptive mother kneeling in front of her and begging her.

Her adoptive mother only cared about her biological daughter, Brisa Brown.

She seemed to have forgotten that she, Deborah, was also the child she raised.

Deborah lowered her head, and cold tears rolled down from the corners of her eyes. They dripped into the snow and turned into nothingness.

Her heart felt cold and extremely painful.

The pain chilled her to the bones.

The cold wind blew, but the chill on her skin was nothing compared to the chill in her heart. A group of spectators around her were pointing and pointing at her.

"Look! That's the fake daughter of the Brown family!"

"Yes! She not only stole Brisa's identity at a young age, but she further insisted on remaining in the Brown family even after the truth had been exposed!"

"But why is she in prison?"

"Don't you know? Deborah is cruel and merciless. After learning that her biological parents were poor, she was afraid that she would need to go home to her parents. When her father came to see her, she drove her car at him and killed him. She's so evil that she killed her own biological father!"

"What? How evil!"

Deborah, who had lowered her head, trembled when she heard this.

"What?" She thought.

The person whom Brisa was killed was actually... her biological father, whom she had never seen before?!

How could this be?!

Deborah anxiously raised her head and looked at the person who had spoken, "What did you say? Who was the victim?"

The prison guard detained her impatiently and barked, "Time's up! Go in, Deborah Brown!"

Ignoring her struggles, he roughly shoved her into the prison.

Deborah was locked up in a dark and damp cell.

As soon as she entered the door, she was kicked in the abdomen by a pair of smelly feet!

"You even killed your own father. Sisters, give her a good lesson!"

Before Deborah could take in the room, she was pushed to the ground. A group of women in prison uniforms kicked and punched her.

She curled up on the ground awkwardly and hugged herself tightly with her hands. Her inner pain hurt a thousand times more than the beating they gave her.

Half a year ago, she was the envied daughter of the Brown family.

Half a year later, she was a prisoner despised by the world.

All because she was not the actual biological daughter of the Brown family!

Six months ago, her adoptive mother, Emilia Thomas, met with an accident. At the hospital, she met a girl who looked exactly like Deborah. Suspicious, Emilia had secretly taken the girl's hair to do a DNA test.

Unexpectedly, the girl turned out to be the real daughter of the Brown Family!

Her adoptive parents had been ecstatic. They had immediately taken Brisa back into the family.

As for Deborah, although she was sad, she still accepted the reality and made preparations to go back to her actual parents. Brisa and her adoptive parents tried their best to convince her to stay.

For a moment, her heart softened, and she had agreed.

Since then, she had been accused of being a gold digger.

And her adoptive parents had never spoken up for her!

On a rainy night a week ago, Brisa suddenly ran out of the house and disappeared.

She appeared in the middle of the night, distraught, stating she had accidentally killed someone with a car.

Her adoptive parents had turned pale with fright. The first thing they did was beg Deborah to take the blame for Brisa instead of reporting the incident to the police!

She was so stupid. In a moment of pity, she had agreed.

She was so stupid that she allowed her adoptive parents to send her to prison without asking about the victim. It turned out that Brisa had killed Deborah's biological father!

Her adoptive parents must have known about it. Otherwise, why would they hide the truth from her?

Deborah smiled bitterly when she came to this conclusion, and her heart crumbled like ashes.

She had actually become the scapegoat to help the murderer who had killed her own father.

How ironic!

If her father knew about this, how sad he would be!

Deborah spat.

She closed her eyes sadly, and her tears fell like rain as she whispered,

"I'm so sorry, Dad."

......

Five years later.

It was another snowy night.

The doors of Edeah Prison opened, and the light cast a shadow of a girl's slender and thin frame onto the snowy ground as she slowly plodded out into the snow.

She stood outside the door and turned to look back at the place where she had lived for the past five years.

His eyes were filled with cold hatred.

The Brown family.

Trevon Brown, Emilia Thomas, and Brisa Brown had ruined her life and killed her father. She had a score to settle with them, and she intended to settle it with her own hands!

She heard that tonight was Brisa and Rowan Hobbs' engagement day.

They were to be engaged at the Brown family's Fallen Cherry Hotel. No, it was the Brisa House Hotel now.

In that case, she would send them a big 'gift'!

Deborah's eyes turned hard as she faced the frigid wind. In the dark of the night, she was dressed in a single white robe as she walked step by step towards the Green House Hotel.

The worn black canvas bag in her hand contained bombs she had made from scratch over the years.

An hour later, there was a loud explosion in the lobby of the Green House Hotel.

Flames soared into the sky.

There were no survivors in the banquet hall.
