This story is going to have irregular updates. I have constant writer's block and I'm still in school. I know the beginning and end but the middle part is the most difficult one. But don't worry I'll complete the book.

Becca's P.O.V

I look around the gathering in my school's football ground and find my family. I run to them after receiving my certificate.My mother is the first to engulf me in her hug.

Then my dad gives me a hug. My brother Liam was not able to make it to my graduation due to work in Paris.

All the three of us take a family photo.

My best friend  Raven and her mother approach us,

"Becca" she calls,

"Birdy".

We both hug each other tightly .

Yes I call her birdy. Come on her name is Raven and Raven is a bird do the math.

Raven has been my best friend since I was 5 . Our moms worked in the same hospital so we have been very close . Like sisterly type of close.

She knows things about me that even my mother doesn't.

She even changed school with me three years ago and now we are going to move to Newberry and attend the same college.

"Becca I can't believe it's finally over. Well be moving to Newberry today." Raven squeak's.

"It's going to be amazing birdy . I can't wait to see our house there."

Raven nods.

"Girls let's go home you must finish packing before the flight time."

Mom reminds us.

" Oh. But me and birdy are going to get ice cream and then come home.you guys can leave." Raven and I start heading towards the parking lot.

"But don't be late." "Ok" I shout  over my shoulders."

We get to the parking lot and I climb on my motorcycle.

Yes I know how to ride a motorcycle. My dad thought me how to ride it last year. I strap on my helmet and Raven gets into her car.

"Wanna race till the shop birdy "

"I never say no to racing , you must know that by now Bec"

" Get ....set ....go"

I bring my engine to life and drive out of the parking lot like a bat out of hell. We both are at an equal pace till we get to the traffic light.

There is traffic ahead. A smile spreads on my face as I go between the cars and reach the shop first.

I remove my helmet and get off my bike.

I go inside the shop and order a Pina colada and blueberry ice cream for me and a rocky road with butterscotch ice cream for Raven and go sit in our usual spot, next to the window,as Raven's car pulls up outside the shop.

She enters the shop and sits in the chair opposite to me.

"I hate the traffic here in San Diego" she mumbles while eating a scoop of her ice cream.

"Chill anyway we will be out of here by afternoon"

"I can't wait to go to Red Wood College. I've heard there are really hot guys there. Maybe you'll find someone there."

I choak on the ice cream I had been eating and start coughing.

"Please birdy you know how bad my fate is when it comes to boys."

She sighs and tells"Maybe it will  change in RedWood"

"Maybe"

We finish our ice cream and go home and start packing.

Dad had bought me a motorcycle and birdy a car in newberry so we did not have to worry about it and our house was already furnished so all we had to pack was our clothes.

I had 2 suitcases full of clothes and one backpack full of makeup and other essentials.

But birdy however had 3 suitcases and 1 backpack.

"Whoa birdy did you pack a furniture also in there"

"Shut up Bec"

"Girls the car is here." her mum called from her front yard

We loaded our bags into the trunk and got into the car.

After 30 minutes we were there at the airport.

After going through the security we were about to get on the plane when I said "Ready to do this." and birdy said " Here we come South Carolina."
