Chapter 1

　　The buzzing sound of my phone alarm and the blazing rays of the sun slip through my windows both wake me in a daze.

　　"Ughh Damn alarm" I complained while reaching for my phone to snooze the alarm.

　　As I looked myself in the reflection on the phone screen, my long and black hair was so messy and still, I feel so sleepy because I sleep late around 2:00 am because I study some of the lesson that will be discussed in the class later and I was planning and thinking on what are the things I do in the school.

　　I always literally hated waking up from bed in the morning, when I look at the time it's 6:37 and my class will be on 8:00 so I basically close my eye to take a few minutes for a nap.

　　After a few minutes my phone alarm rings again so I got up and headed to the bathroom to clean up myself. Then I walk to my closet and chooses my outfit. I love to wear below knee skirts or lose jeans paired with comfortably loose blouses matched with sweater or jacket while wearing my eye glasses.

　　For today I chose my favorite skirt paired with white and pink stripes blouses with matching hoodie jacket. After fixing myself and I look in the mirror then everything is set.

　　I decided to go downstairs to have breakfast prepared by mom. She is also rushing cause it's almost time to go to her work.

　　I kiss her on the cheeks. And I greeted her.

　　"Good morning mom" I said to her with smile in the face then hug her.

　　"Good morning too honey" she replied and asked "You wake up late why is that?"

　　I sat on the chair next to her. And look into her and said

　　"I just studied some of my lessons and I sleep late mom don't worry"

　　My mom Lizzy Thompson-Anderson and I were living in the neighborhoods in the city of Melbourne. My dad died almost four years ago. So, mom and I tried our best to live together happily.

　　By the way my name I Alexis Anderson 17 years old and I admit I like being alone. But though I like being alone I still have a best buddy my childhood friends Suzie and Blake. They were my childhood best friends and playmates. Since we share common likes and hobby such as reading books and novels and watching movies. In fact, we decided to set Saturday nights for us to watch movies together.

　　The three of us live in the same street but Blake go to other school while Suzi and I goes the same but not in the same class since she's a year younger than me.

　　As we finished eating and being prepared to go, mom and I got into the car and she drives me to the school.

　　"Thanks, mom I got to go. Love lots" I said.

　　“Ummmuah” I give her a goodbye kiss as I was about to open the door.

　　"You're welcome, darling. Remember don't push yourself too hard just enjoy school. Okay," she said.

　　"Okay, mom. Bye," I said as I closed the door.
