I was in my room when my brother jonathan called for me to go down stairs because the council has called for the meeting.

It was early in the morning and I wanted nothing than just sleeping the whole day because I was tired from the training we had the previous night I was exhausted but I couldn't say no and ignore the council.

Coming,I responded to my brother felling hurt anger was burning inside me.I immediately got out of bed even though my spirit wasn't in support,I changed from my pajamas and wore my usual clothes and went down stairs to attend the meeting which was always boring.

When I reached I sat down on a seat which was empty and started to wait for someone to break the silence which felt like eternity and finally my dad broke the silence who happens to be the supremo.

A supreme is the title given to the leader of the brood or clan and the most powerful.

"Good morning everyone,my dad spoke.". "The reason the council and I have called for a meeting today is because we have found where the book we have all been looking for which possess the powers that we need to become the powerful brood,he said."

I have never seen the book they were talking about but my mother told me it was a very possessive and powerful and which ever brood holds it becomes the most powerful,respected and feared brood.I was happy we are the ones who first found out where it was hidden.

"We are supposed to send someone who will bring this book to us,but we have to choose someone whom we trust and can never betray us,my father said."

"But who,the person next to me asked." He was my fathers advisor and best friend Mr Balisto.

The all council looked at me and I knew right there what it meant."we will send Amarice since he is your soon,sandrino said.“ sandrino was a member of the council.

“Why him,why not me am the oldest but you always choose him everytime,my brother spoke with anger in his voice.“

"Because we trust him and he is brave unlike you,supremo said"

I saw how hurt my brother was he looked at me and I felt his hatred towards me because our parents favored me more than him.

"We have plotted how everything is going to be and we believe our plan is concrete,sandrino said."

"Tomorrow you have to leave for mexico,everything you need is there we have bought a house for you and there are also people that will be guiding you you will meet them when you reach mexico,my father added.“

I never expected this to be quick I wanted to say no but no one dares to disobey the council,we discussed the plan and the meeting was dismissed.

The next day I got prepared and left for mexico in mind the rules and things I was limited to do.
