Elizabeth's pov.

I can feel the tears trailing down my cheek as I linger through the street of Alhambra. The loud sound of the thunderstorm that echoes through the entire street makes me gaze up, it seems like it's going to rain very soon, and here I am, walking alone on this cold night without having a particular destination I'm heading to.

I sniff, trying to fight back the tears that are ready to evacuate their abode at any time. How can Josh do this to me? After all I have done for him, is this the perfect way of paying me back? I thought silently, biting my lower lip in regret.

The picture of what I saw earlier won't stop popping up in my head, not that I don't want to get over it, but I just can't do it. Seeing my fiance on the bed with another lady feels like my heart was stabbed with an arrow. And to make the matter worse, he showed no remorse for what he did.

" Close the door on your way back," He had said.

I was so lost in my reverie that I didn't notice that I'm about to crash into someone.

" Watch your step, lady," The Husky voice calls from behind.

" I'm very sorry," I mutter, my voice barely above a whisper.

I continue to walk down the street, using the back of my hand to clean the tears dripping from my eyes once in a while. After what seems like a long time, I come to a halt at the front of a bar.

I stand still for a few seconds, contemplating whether I'm ready for this or not.

At last, I push the door open and walk inside. I am a bit disappointed when I see that almost all the chairs are empty, but anyway, I'm only here to drink out my pain.

" Madam, how may I help you?" I flinch a little when I hear the voice, only to look up to see the bartender waving his hand at me. I squeeze my eyes a little, wanting to adjust to the dim light.

When I get to his front, I pull out a chair.

" Give me your strongest alcohol," I force a smile.

He gives me a suspicious look.

" You okay?"

" Yeah."

" Like how many shots?"

" Will let you know when to stop," those are the only words I manage to say.

Before I knew it, I had already taken up to ten shots. I'm feeling dizzy but not ready to stop, I feel like this is working.

I'm about to bring the glass closer to my mouth again when a hand suddenly snaps it away from me.

" What the fuck do you think you are doing?" I mutter in a gloomy tone, thinking whoever the person is will apologize and hand it over.

" Trying not to let you boil your liver," A serene voice answers, I tilt my head to the side to see where the voice is coming from.

" And who are you...uu" I stutter as I stare at the breathtaking face in my front. This guy does look like a Pop idol.

" A customer like you," He pushes the chair I assume he was sitting on earlier closer to me.

" And do you care to tell me why you are planning to kill yourself by drinking this?" He bounces into his seat.

" Why should I do that?" I mutter slowly, my eyes drooling on his perfect shape lips. Gosh! I guess the alcohol is already getting the best of me.

He smiles, "I might be of help,"

" Found my fiance making out with another girl," I spit out before I could stop myself.

My eyes wide open, I look down immediately.

How can you be telling this to a stranger?

" Really? You are lucky then," For some reason, he sounds hurt, and I can't help but look at his face.

" Lucky?" I probe in surprise.

" Yes you are," He sips the alcohol he snapped from me. " Just found out that my wife has been sleeping with my best friend," He paused. " At least you guys are not yet a couple." He chuckles and then drops the glass on the table.

" Drink up, you need it,"
