##Chapter :- 1

I am Samantha Acharya and I am 25 years old. I love my family a lot. And here right now I am discussing….no no disagreeing with my parents about my marriage. They want me to marry a boy who is a business man and he lives in New York. The boy's mother is actually my mother's college friend. But I don't really know the actual reason why they want me to marry a guy living in New York.

"Samantha the boy is very responsible and also good looking . I guarantee you that he will take good care of you" said rakhi

Samantha's mom

"But mom, I really don't want to get married at this early age . I want to be independent first and then we can discuss about my marriage" Samantha said

"But my little girl, you have already been accepted by a company in New York. So it will be good for you to be completely settle in New York" said dad

" Dad, wait a second , how did you know that I got accepted by a company in New York? I didn't tell anybody about it " said Samantha

"Sorry beta actually while your mother was cleaning your wardrobe she got an envelope and thought of giving it to you back but later decided to check what is it in the envelope" said dad

"And later that night after getting your acceptance letter I told your dad about it" said mom

"Now I get it mom, you both actually want me to marry mr. New York guy so that I can be completely settle there and accept the job" Samantha said angrily" Because both of you know that I will not accept the job offer because I cannot leave without you guys"Samantha added in but said the last words sadly

"But beta both of us want you to accept the job offer. Beta this type of offer comes once in a lifetime, so you should actually accept the job offer" said dad

" Okay dad I will accept the job offer but I will not marry that New York guy"said Samantha with a irritated tone

"But beta you have to get married one day so why not this month only?" Said mom

"What??" Samantha shouted

"Mom, what are you telling me I have to get married this month?" Asked Samantha

"Actually beta the boy's family wanted the marriage to happen by the end of this month or next month"said dad

"Yes beta, please agree to our wish and marry that boy. He is a very good and caring boy. I promise that he will always love you and take good care of you"said mom

"My little girl, we can also show you the photo of the guy. He is very handsome." Said dad.

Samantha was listening to her parents quietly. She knew why her parents were so desperate to get her married to that New York guy because she was never going to accept the job offer in New York if there is not a reasonable reason behind it. She can actually get any job in India but her dream job is waiting in New York.

"Okay so if both of you don't want me anymore in your life then I am ready to get married to mr. New York guy"Samantha emotionally said

Both adarsh and rakhi don't want their daughter to get married right now but they know they have to do this so that she can accept New York's job offer. Though she has said that she will join the job without getting married, they still know that she is lying. Samantha cannot leave without them.

While she was in school she had never gone on an excursion with her friends because she couldn't spend a single day without them. But now she has to,she is a grown up now.

"Don't get emotional beta. You know how much you want to accept that job because it your dream job. And beta now you are a grown up,you have to stay without us." Said dad

" Okay my lovely parents, I know you both will always make good decisions for me. And yes I am accepting the job offer and will also get married to that New York guy" said Samantha

"I want to see his photo first" Samantha added in

Later they had dinner and went to their respective rooms. But all Samantha was thinking was how she would be able to leave without her parents.
