I stop him before he could finish his sentence "No...why are you doing this after so long? Why are you coming back into my life after I finally get to live happily?" I ask him, a tear escaping my eye.

Let's stop right there and go a few weeks back and let me tell you my story.

"Did you call Robinson?" I ask Aleesha, my secretary.

"Yes, miss. He accepted your offer and wants to sign the contract as fast as you can," she tells me, handing me the list of things I have to do today.

"Of course he did, I hate that fucking bastard. All he wants is to join my company so he could steal my place." little does he know about the terms of that contract that I'm sure he didn't go over, which clearly clarifies, "Any employee of Robinson Enterprises, will not be permitted in any shape or form to enter the building of SkyHigh Inc., contrary Robinson Enterprises will be put at risk and will have to pay a tax of £2.5 billion." The idiot thinks it was my pleasure to do business with him when actually it was my pleasure to fuck him and his business up. In exactly two hours, he will sign, what he thinks it is, a partnership with my company and he would get 10% of our income every month. He dared to think I would make him one of my partners. He actually signs for his company bankruptcy. Life sucks Mr Robinson, you should've asked your lawyer to read the offer but you were too eager to steal my corporation.

"That piece of shit won't know what hit him, Aaliyah. You're a fucking genius!" Aleesha shouts in my face after embracing me in a hug.

You would think, how are you allowing your secretary to talk like that in front of you. Besides being my right hand, she is my best friend. Actually, fuck this, she is my sister and if anyone would try to do any harm to her, I would fucking destroy them.

"Ok, little shit, enough with the hugs, you know I hate it." I roll my eyes at her and let out a chuckle.

"But you're my bestie." she pouts her lip and bats her eyelashes at me. "Anyway, are you free tonight?"

"Well except ten endless meetings that I have to attend. I think I am, why?"

"I have this date tonight and I don't want to go alone...you know how am I around strangers." she's been through a lot, we both did, and it's hard for her to open up to strangers.

"I will be there, just text me the address and the time and I will put my undercover spy outfit on," I say to her while checking the time. I hate Mondays we have so many meetings I have to go through to check how everything is going on.

"No need to, I already booked a table for one in this very luxurious restaurant so please wear something hot... And thank you, Li Li!" she says giving me a huge hug once again.

"Okay, that's enough. Go and work now... I was right when I thought I pay you too much."

"And you know how much I appreciate it, boo!" she blows me a kiss and opens the door of my office.

"By the way, who's the lucky one tonight?" I ask her.

"I was shopping yesterday and I bi-panicked, as usual, and that's when I saw her. She's so hot and kind and funny, so we had a coffee together and she asked me out." I laugh at her story when my phone rings.

"I'm happy for you Aly, now go, one of our partners is calling me," I say while pushing her out the door.
