SYNOPSIS

Gracie Hyde is eighteen and hasn't been in a single relationship. She wants a taste of the drug called love and wants to belong to someone without losing herself.

Alastair Kerr is tired of being with new girls every other day and wants to find that one special girl who'll be his forever, without snatching his self away from him.

Follow Alastair and Gracie's journey on the rollercoaster of love, watch them steal each other's hearts and just maybe, break it too.

TIMELINE

Written between May 2015 and August 2015.

ABOUT

No, this isn't a dark, tragic love story. Nor is it about a teen, shy girl who somehow falls for the bad boy. It might seem so, but no, Steal my heart isn't like that. Nor is it a good girl and bad boy tale. It isn't like any other story you might have read. It's more. It's simple, undiluted and real; it's a relationship which explores the highs and lows of love. I am not a fantastic writer and this isn't the best piece of writing over here; but I guess that's what will make it worth reading. A story by an ordinary girl, with special love, to you.

TO

This is to all the girls who have ever had a crush on someone who 'they believed' was out of their league. To all the boys who have met a girl who seemed perfect to them. To all those who have had first love. To all those who've gotten a taste of it, only for it be snatched away from them. To all those who've fallen for their best friend. To all those who thought it'll last forever. To all those who've cried at night and slept while tears streamed from their face to the pillow beneath them. And lastly, to all the hopeless romantics, maybe love isn't too far away, maybe it is just round the corner.

Keep faith.

Always.

DEALS WITH

Different forms of romance; mainly first love, heartbreak, death and falling for one's best friend.

WARNING

This book is cliché. No, not completely. But there are some moments when you'd say this. So if it's not your thing, turn about and walk away. Just don't flood my comment section with criticism about the story being too cheesy. Also, the characters aren't perfect, just like people. So please don't bash them in the comments. You've been warned. If you proceed, thank you. If you don't, goodbye.
