SERENITY KANG

“Ah! It hurt’s” I hissed as the sharp pain, accompanied by the coldness of the winter, pierced through my whole system.

“Hush. Relax, it will be fine soon.” He said in an extremely gentle voice while pressing his lips against my ear, and just like what he said, the pain vanished magically and my body began to relax with his touch.

It was very late at night when we finished and he finally fall asleep, that’s when I forced myself to stand and get dressed, enduring the discomfort and soreness of my body.

Holding the doorknob, I took a final glance with the man who took my first. A gorgeous and perfect man.

‘Too bad he’s not mine- He will never be mine.’

I shook my head and pushed that thought in the back of my mind, I have more important things in hand other than fantasizing him.

A bitter smile formed in my lips as I finally retracted my eyes from him.

“It was nice meeting you, but I hope that our paths will never cross again.” I whispered to myself before going out of the door.

‘It’s really a goodbye now.’

Outside of the door, a girl with a hat, huge sunglass and a mask is waiting for me. “Is it done?”

I nodded with her question.

I looked at her intently. I can never deny the happiness in her face, but beyond that is the look of contempt and hatred in her eyes. “Hmp! Looks like your still quite useful. Now, get lost.” She hissed.

But I didn’t move at all, I just stood there and looked at her coldly, “What about the money?”

“Ask Dad for it your yourself bitch!” She said angrily while removing all the things that’s covering her face, then she entered the hotel suite and slammed the door shut.

I looked at the door for a while, me and Stacy is the exact replica of each other. If there is any difference, it is the fact that she has this superior posture that of a swan, while I, on the other hand is the exact opposite.

How ironic.

That girl is none other than, Stacy Kang, my sister. And not just a sister, but a twin. But despite that, we never really get along with each other.

I started to walk away as I looked back in the past. I already forgot how long has it been since the last time we talked with each other, if it was not because of our meeting this time, I think that I might never come in contact with her for the rest of my life.

It was when our parents divorced that our relationship as sisters started to worsen, and well, it eventually turned out like this.

After stepping my feet out of the hotel, I immediately called a taxi. But because it was snowing, I have to wait outside, in that cold weather for a long time before the taxi finally arrived.

“To Starlight Villa” I told the driver as soon as I got inside the car.

That’s where Henry Kang, our so called father, lives in. The part of the city where rich people lives in, a place that’s full of gold and luxuries, but most importantly, it is the place where I will never set my foot in this life except for today.

On the way to the Villa, I received a call from the hospital, “Miss Kang, do you think that the hospital is some kind of a charity work?” I closed my eyes in annoyance. Not again…

I sighed, “Rest assured! I’ll definitely send the money before the sun sets!” I said in a irritated and firm voice.

The woman on the other line was stunned and not able to reply for a while, and I took that opportunity to quickly end the call. I stayed quiet after that, and held the phone tighter.

Mom, just hang in there for awhile.
