Laila’s Pov

“LILI”that was the first thing I heard when I woke up .

I groaned and rub the sleep of my eyes .

“What?”I questioned my bestie Eliana in an annoyed tone “HAPPY BIRTHDAY” she screamed. god! .I almost forgot it was my 18th birthday. I jump out of bed in my fastest morning mood speed. “Thank you girl I almost forgot” I Hugged her .

I’ve been waiting for this year that I finally turn 18 and now here it is . Huh. What a coincidence she woke me up the same way when I was eight not I’m eighteen and well my birthday also ends with an eight . Twenty eight February. Woohoo nice right .

“How could you , you’ve been waiting for this year like centuries ago” she pulled me away and looked at me like she was gonna slap my face in no time . I smile “I was just joking ” I laugh at her . “Okay, whatever” she roll her eyes.

“Come on , let’s get you ready, we have to go shopping today” she said excitedly like a small girl getting candy . I sigh ‘there was no getting away is there’ I promised her that yesterday , well let’s get this over with “let me go and change”she nodded and went straight to my closet.

I didn’t have that much clothes ‘liar’ my inner voice said, okay I had much clothes but just like around twenty dresses, ten shorts , five jeans, six skirts , fifteen shirts ,six jackets, five jumpsuit and last but not least five pair of sneakers five pair of boots, five pair of heels, five pair of flats that’s equal to twenty shoes in combined , see! I had lest clothes not to lest but lest .

Well let’s go take a shower.

It took me an hour to finish . Now I’m done shaving cleaning and all the stuff done in the bathroom .

I came out of my room with a towel rap around my head and one over my body “wear this” Ellie gesture to the clothes in the bed . It was a tortoise coloured dress that came right above my knees and it was an off shoulder sleeves with thin straps it was paired with a denim jacket and some flats . It match with my fair tan skin well some would call me pretty but I doubt that I wan thin And oh forgot it . I went to the bathroom and changed it .

Since I’m done with my clothes it’s my hairs time to get the attention I sat in my dressing table stool while Ellie did my hair she was quite good at it since she always practiced from when she was twelve and now she’s perfect at it so yeah .

“Done” I looked at my self in the mirror and smiled she curled my black long hair it about halfway to my back just near my hips . Atleast she didn’t put any makeup for me just a small bit of Chapstick.

“Thanks” “ no problem girl” before I knew it she had already pulled me downstairs “you’ll have your breakfast then we’ll go shopping” I roll my eyes at her .

Just when we were about to enter the kitchen to eat the good smell of breakfast made by my mom we bumped into something or rather someone .
