“Come on,Anna!” Layla shouted while sheʼs running.

“Hey slow down!” I shouted while running after her. “You might get hurt!”.

“Nah.I wonʼt!” She denied.

“Woah!” She uttered. “A red dead tree?”.

“Hey,layla,”I said without looking at her. “We need to get back.It's already late”.

“H—Hey look at this first” She said while tapping my back that makes me face her.

“What is this?” I asked amazingly. “Iʼve never seen this before”.

“Iʼve never seen a red tree before” She whispered and slowly touching the red dead tree.

I slowly put my hands on the treeʼs dead skin and slowly caressing it. “Ouch!” I complained because of the pain.

“What happened?” Layla asked. “Where did you get that wounds?”

“I donʼt know!” I said nervously. “I was just caressing the dead treeʼs skin and then I felt something aching in my hands and this wounds showed up from nowhere.

“Maybe you just didnʼt notice when weʼre running earlier” She said while blowing away the dust in my wounded hands.

“Itʼs getting late,” Layla said. “Come on,letʼs go home already”.

She started running but Iʼm still here standing between this red dead tree while wondering where my wounds came from.

“Hey!” She souted as she looked back and telling me to come.

“Oh yeah sure!” I shouted back.

I slowly looked at the tree while running and there,I saw a girl,A girl in a white bloody dress standing between the red dead tree.I got scared so I ran faster.

When we got home,layla suddenly asked me. “Hey,why do you look so scared?” She asked that made me faced her.

“I—I saw a g—girl” I nervously said. “A g—girl standing between the d—dead tree!”.

“You saw her too?” She asked. “I saw her”.

I got shocked from what she just said. “You saw her?” I asked and it gives me creeps.

“My grand father told me about the girl who died between the red dead tree” She said while getting a chair.

“Can you tell me about that?” I asked.

“Sure” She sits down. “My grand father said,that that dead treenis a cursed tree.The girl you saw?We saw earlier?is the girl who died.A little 9 years old girl”.

“Why?what happened?why did she died?” I asked.

“She was brutally killed with the person who planted those trees” — “You know whatʼs the worse part is?” She said.

“What is it?” I asked. — “He used a fork to get the eye ball out of the girlʼs eye” She said. This gives me goosebumps.

“What!?” I shouted. “How could he do that to a  9 years old kid?Is he crazy or something?” Gosh!I canʼt believe he did that to a 9 year old girl.

“Some says he was owned and controlled by a powerful demon” She said.

“No.Demons arenʼt true” I whispered.

“They are true” She said while crossing her arms. “One day,youʼll see one”.

“Pfft.I already saw one” I said while rolling my eyes. “Itʼs you!” We both laughed from what Iʼve just said.

Hours have passed,Itʼs now 11:59 in the evening and I still canʼt get over from what Iʼve just saw earlier.I canʼt believe.Itʼs hard to believe.

I was lying down on my bed when someone suddenly asked me to open my roomʼs door.

“What?I was just about to sleep” I complained.

“Shut—up,” My mother said. “You have a visitor.A girl.”

I got curious so I immediately ran faster to reach the first floor of my house.

“Where?” I asked.

“Living room” She said. “hmmmm—hmm—mmmmh”

I got goosebumps when my mother started humming.

I fixed my shirt and wear slippers before facing my visitor.

“Oh Hi!” I greeted. “Do I know you?little girl?”

“Hello,anna” She greeted me back and gave me a creepy smile.

“Can I know whereʼd you come from?” I asked again while looking away.Fudge!she's so creepy! I wonder why is her dress so familliar to me.

“Youʼre in danger,darling” She said but Iʼm still avoiding her stares.

As I tries to look at her,she disappeared!She disappeared like sheʼs a bubble.

“Uhm Anna,” My mother. “Are you okay?It looks live youʼve seen a ghost?”

“Pfft.Ghost arenʼt real.” I said then smiled at her. “Good night mother,Iʼm going to sleep now”.

“By the way,” — “Whereʼs your visitor?” She asked.

“Uhh—she a—already go home” I said. — “oh I see.Go to sleep now,Itʼs late” She said.

I immediately go upstairs,to my bed.And started wondering why is that girl is so familliar to me.

“No!Ahh!ackk!” I screamed again.

I canʼt move my body!No oneʼs helping me!I donʼt wanna die,Iʼm still young!

“Poor anna,” She said while sheʼs on top of me. “they canʼt hear you.Even on if you will scream louder,they canʼt.HA HA HA HA!”.

“Get off me!” I yelled.Trying my body to move just to get out of this hell!

“You canʼt move,” She whispered to my ear.

“Stop!Arghhh!” Sheʼs stabbing me again!But this time sheʼs stabbing my legs!It hurts like hell.Fudge!

She stands up and she gets the axe. Wtf!?

“W—What are you doing?” I tried to move backward but itʼs no use. “P—Please I—I did nothing wrong!”

I was so scared that I could have an heart attack!

“Goodbye,” She whispered. “Anna”.

“N—” I was cut off when someone slapped me.

“Hey hey, look at me” Itʼs my mother. “Are you okay?What happened? Why are you crying?”.

“Th—Thereʼs this l—little girl who wants t—to kill me” I said. I was so scared!It was my first time dreaming like this.

“What little girl?” She asked. “A 9 year old girl?”.

I was more shocked when she said those words.

“M—Mom?” I uttered.

“What!?” I was shocked and got more scared. “Why?Who?Where?”

“Thereʼs this little girl cursed her and that girl was staying in your dadʼs tree.” She said. “She cursed your dad for cutting those tree”

“W—What tree?” I asked. “The red dead tree near the woods?”

My mother was so shocked when she heard what Iʼve just said and starts confronting me.

“Howʼd you know!?” She asked nervously. “You go there?When!”.

“E—Earlier,” I said. “We didnʼt mean to go there. We just wanted to play”.

“Layla” I responded while tilting my head amd faced the opened window that lets the cold wind inside my room.

My mom immediately stands up and closed closed my opened window.

“You saw her?” She asked. “The girl”.

“Y—Yes,” I nodded. “She gave me a creepy smile and she stared at me like she wants to kill me”.

“Did layla saw her too?” She asked.

I nodded as a yes. “But she pretended that she didnʼt saw her”.

“This is dangerous,we need to move” She said.

“Call her and tell her to come with us” She said and starts packing my things.
