The Return of Prince Damon

PROLOGUE.

There is war.

Kingdom Zandia is in war, they are in trouble.

One will not say it is the same kingdom Zandia which is always so lively.

It has transformed into a bloodbath overnight.

Fire everywhere, arrows flying around the sky, clattering of swords filled the air, people drooping dead to the floor.

The massacre was brutal.

Everybody trying to run for their dear lives, mother crying out their children's name and children calling out to their parents.

Everywhere is in total chaos.

The palace was not excluded, the enemy kingdom has succeeded in invading the palace.

" Elisha, it is so good to see you my brother" he laughed out wickedly, his sword dripping of blood.

" Judrith, I beg you. Let everyone go, please stop this madness. Please", King Elisha begged earnestly, his gaze wandered off round the palace and his heart break at the sight.

People was being massacred and butchered like animals, his people are dying.

His kingdom is falling, oh how much he failed his people.

Not able to bear the pain any longer he went down on his knees," please" , he begged clamping his two hands together.

" They are innocent, you can kill me instead but please let my people go. Please spare my family",

Getting excited about everything, he laughed out loudly. Like the maniac he is.

" Your family you say? If you mean your queen and all of the royal family,then I'm sorry Elisha they should have turned into ashes by now ",

King Elisha's eyes widened in shock,the royal family is dead?

" I wanted to kill you myself, if not you will have been like that as well by now, and fir enough I am going to send you to them . So they won't be missing you in hell",

Without warning, he closed the distance between them, driving his bloody sword into the king's heart.

" " Ahhh", King Elisha shrieked in pain, blood gushing out of the wound

" Wh…y a..are y..you d.do..doing this? ", He coughed out blood.

He smirked wickedly "I told you, I will kill you one day, I guess today is the day . ", He pulled out the sword and dives it into his heart again.

Repeating the action thrice, he kicked his body hard making him groan.more in pain.

" Yo..you w..will r.. regret t…this",he managed to say, coughing out blood in the process.

His royal garment soaked on blood.

" No I won't, beacuse today henceforth, Zandia will have a new ruler and none of your lineage remain. ", He sapt in disgust and pure hatred.

" Rot in hell brother and ohhh, send my regards to king Anish ", he smiled wickedly and then pulled out the sword harshly.

King Elisha yelped in immense pain, blood gushing out of his mouth.

" Oh armies of Badrith! ", He yelled authoritatively

" Yes his Majesty " they answered in sync.

" Tonight, Badrith has won, today we are victorious.", He yelled raising his bloody sword up to the sky.

" Catch the able bodied men and the women, and kill all infants. Understood!!!",

" Yes your highness", with that the killing continued.

He shot the dying king a lady venomous glance before walking away, slaughtering people as he walked.

He came out of his hidden place and ran towards his father. He had witnessed everything.

" Father, father ", the ten years old prince Damon cried holding unto his dying father.

Weakly, he took his son's small hand into his bloody hands .

" D.. Damon", he stuttered.

" Father please stand up, we have to go and save mama and the Princess, we have to save mama and my sister from the fire Stand up father ", he wailed , pulling unto his father's arm .

But the man was too weak to do a thing.

" Y..you must su…survive, Y…you h..have t.to survive…e n.no mm…attee.rr what . ", He said with all of his might.

" Father please, don't die ", the little boy cried helplessly.

" G..go… go …no..now. G..goo faraway f..from h..ere a..nd su..survive . Go", he ordered pulling his hand out of his hold forcefully, using all of his last energy.

His eyes was closing gradually " Go Damon. And don't forget you are prince Damon", he said before his eye finally slipped close.

" Ahhh father father please, ahhahahha ahah ", he cried painfully.

But a a group of soldiers approached him, he stood up.and hide.

Seeing no one at sight, he ran with all of his might. .

But not for once did he forget about that night which he lost everything, his father, his mother, sister , all the royal family and his title.

The night that changes his life drastically.
