CHAPTER 1

　　After

　　I frowned when I noticed that my classmates were a bit confused and others are smiling as if theres something good has happened to them. But I feel opposite to them because there's something in my mind that I can't take it away and my heart beat is so fast. I don't know why I'm feeling like this.

　　"Class, go back to your seat and I have something to tell you!" I heard Ma'am Joyce say, so I looked at her and all of my classmates looked in front and seemed excited about what Ma'am had to say.

　　"Okay class, I just want to tell you that you have a new teacher who will be temporary replace Mrs. Rhian because she is pregnant." Ma'am Joyce added, many sighed and then smiled.

　　"Oh My God! I told you! he will be our teacher!"

　　"Yeah! I'm excited to see him!" I do not know what they are saying. Have they seen the new teacher? My classmates calmed down when Ma'am Joyce spoke.

　　"He's here today to introduce himself so, that he can start tomorrow." Ma'am said with a smile and everyone looked at the door when a man entered. Many were impressed and seemed thrilled to see him. He is tall and Moreno. His lips are red and he looks like a king when he walks in front of us and my classmates are excited to see him because he is so handsome.

　　"I'm Grayson Del Faurico, I'm your temporary teacher in Purposive Communication." This short statement makes them blush and giggles because of his baritone voice even after the introduction of our new teacher. They are still admired him even when he leaves the room. I was shocked when I saw him and my heart beat was beating so fast and I think, this is the start where my life will be change because of a man.

　　Ma'am also let us out right away but I still couldn't get out when she called me.

　　"Ms. Cornello, before you go to your next subject, first, go to sir Grayson's office and he have something to tell you."

　　"W-What... What does he need from me?" I said and I also could not understand why he was still calling me.

　　"I don't know, as long as you go first there and I think, he must have been waiting for you so, just go." She said and left. My heartbeat quickened and I didn't seem want to go there but I just saw myself going to Sir's office and my heart beat faster when I was in front of it so I bravely opened it.

　　I stopped when I saw him with someone else and when he saw me he looked at the woman he was talking to.

　　"Good morning Ma'am." I greeted her but I didn't know, why I don't even smile at her as if my heart was broken by what I witnessed earlier.

　　"Oh... Why are you here, Ms. Cornello?" She asked with a smile and I would have answered her when Sir interrupt.

　　"I have something to tell her that's why she's here." He said coldly while staring at me.

　　"Ah... Okay, I think I need to leave now and I have also a class and by the way, thank you for entertaining me. See you later, Sir." She said with a smile and left so, we are the only two of us left here.

　　"Why did you call me?" I told him without staring at him, I don't think I can manage his stare at me.

　　"Hmm… I found out you are a scholar here?" He asked so, I nodded.

　　"And you look so familiar to me, have we met yet?" This question made my heart beat faster. Does he no longer remember me? I felt hurt that he didn't know me at all and even remembered my face.

　　"Y-Yes, I think it was on last week when Ma'am Myra and I attended an event." I said, that's true but I lied when we only met once.

　　"Ah... Why are you not looking at me?" He asked, my heartbeat faster. I'm not ready to see his face again.

　　"Ah... Nothing." I immediately replied and look at him so, that he can't doubt me. My knees trembled when I saw his face again, it's been a year when I saw him. His brown eyes and his long eyelashes have not changed, this is still the part that I like on his face.

　　"Are you nervous?" He said it seriously so I immediately shook.

　　"N-no sir..."

　　"I just want to tell you that from now on, you are now my personal assistance since, you are scholar here, right?" He stared at me intently and I avoided looking at him.

　　"I'm sorry but I'm busy because I have something to do in the library and I may not be able to do what you ask me to do in case you need me." I said.

　　"Don't worry because I already told them about this and they agree." He says it seriously. Is there any reason for me to escape his plan? I do not want to accept what he asks me to do.

　　"B-But... I will be busy these coming weeks because our mid---" He stop me and he continue what he wanted to say. I just sighed. He didn't mind what's my opinion and its an unfair.

　　"And Don't worry because you don't need to come here anytime. I also don't want any trouble or disturbance so, I'll just call you." He said it seriously and he didn't look at me anymore.

　　"O-Okay... Sir..."

　　"You can leave now." He said so, I immediately went out and I was able to hold on to my chest when it still beat faster that I could never imagined. I was nervous and my hands are still tremble because of his present. I just noticed that I am running to our old garden and this is the place where I can spend my free time.

　　"I-It's hurt..." I said while crying. I still can't forget what he said. Why would he make me a personal assistant if he doesn't want me to bother him? Because of my thoughts, my tears flowed even more. Something has changed in his behavior and the attitude he showed me was the same when I first met him. I still can't forget what happened then, if I hadn't met him I wouldn't have been hurt like this. I hope I can forget him.

　　"Sariah!" I immediately wiped away my tears and looked at the person who had called me.

　　"What are you doing here? We have still a class, hurry up and we might get caught." Leanne said, my classmate who became my friend too.

　　"All right" I immediately approached her and we went to our next class.
