Meet Kelly Banks!!

A twenty years old, who has everything in life but decided to work for it.

Her father, Mr Damian Banks is an American and her mother, Mrs Bethel Banks is a Nigerian. Her brother, Kelvin Banks who is five years old than her.

One thing, Kelly loves about her family is that there's love, peace and harmony in their home and life and everyone adores her.

Mr Damian Banks and his wife wants their children to study aboard but Kelly refused saying there are so many good schools in Nigeria.

My father called me and my mother to discuss about my schooling aboard but I told them I want to school here in Nigeria. We kept on arguing till dad let me have my way. I always do though.

I could see my mom is angry about it but I careless. Am so happy that I will be resuming school next week, well I did everything necessary to secure admission myself, I wanted to be ready for whatever my will throw at me when the time comes, especially my mom.

I want them to see that am fine and don't need to depend on them; am nineteen now and in few months I will be officially twenty, I have my own business which i don't want my parents to know about it cuz my mom won't support me. I just don't like the whole idea of living large, I feel it's going to result to me to me being referred to as a rich spoilt brat cuz that's the after maths of it so I got a job at the age of fifteen in a cosmetic shop and I was able to save up some money and opened my own cosmetics shop too.

I need to sleep now so peaked my parents each on their cheeks before heading upstairs to my room and once in my room, I ran into the bathroom took my bath, changed into a white nighty then fell on my bed and I slept knowing am going to have a long day tomorrow.

Morning.

Mr Damian Banks and his wife, Mrs Bethel Banks are traveling for a business in Dubai.

Hpney, have you packed all our luggages? Mr Damian asked his wife.

Yes Darling. She replied.

Ok let's go. He said holding her hands and they walked out of the house and into their car as the driver hit the road leading to the airport.

They travel all the time but Mr Damian Banks still managed to keep an eye on their children. He has people who take care of their daughter when they are away, so no worries on their part.

6:00am.

Aaaaarrrrrrgggggggg!!!

My alarm work me up and I climbed down my bed, stretched and head to my bathroom to take a bath, I brushed my teeth and went under the shower to bath, when the water touched my skin, I felt relaxed and took my time washing myself before going to my room.

I applied lotion and got dressed in a nice outfit before heading downstairs to have breakfast only to be told my parents traveled by one of our maids.

No big deal though, am used to that and it helps to keep them away from finding out about my work cuz I don't want them finding out about it and my little life, mom would kill me if she finds out how I live my life like a second class citizen, she detest it especially lowlifes which I don't know why.

After breakfast, I went to my room to prepare for work but I had to talk to my brother on a video call first. I took my phone, on my data and dialled his number which he picked like he was waiting for it.

Hi big bro.

Hi little angel, how are you?

Am fine, just missing you!! How are you?

Am good, how is mom and dad?

Well, they are fine, they traveled this morning, you know how they are always traveling.

So how are you holding up with it?

Am fine, am already used to it, and beside am not kid anymore. I said rolling my eyes at what he said.

So how is Granny? And how is New York?

Granny is fine and so is New York.

We talked about a lot of things, catching up on lost times and I hanged and changed my clothes and wore a black trouser, white singlet and a black and pink kimono jacket with a flat shoe and small bag to go with it not wanting to look expensive but simple and I left the house.

To avoid getting attentions from people, I didn't drive any of my cars. Yes I have five cars which my parents gave me every year on my birthday even before I started driving on my own but I only drive them when my parents are around.

I took taxi to my cosmetic shop, I work there with the help of a girl older than me but because of my big body and all, you will think am older. She is always filling up for me incase my parents are in town.

Work today was stressful cuz people most especially women tropted in and out of the shop from morning till 6pm in the evening when I closed.

We made good sales today. I was so tired when I got home that all I thought of was sleeping but am so Hungry so I had dinner then went upstairs to my room to have a cool bath that relaxed my body and then I slept.
