Under the scorching September sun, Jiangnan felt just like a steamer, the streets were deserted with few pedestrians, even cars hurried by, seemingly reluctant to linger under the blistering sun.

At Jiangnan airport, Xu Haotian, wearing a black tank top paired with black denim capri pants and a pair of flip-flops, had a cigarette tilted in his mouth. Stretching lazily, he finally got the chance to breathe in some fresh air, as the stuffy cabin had left him with an indescribable discomfort.

Having survived a few years of life and death struggles, his mission was finally over. After the bloodshed and violence, he could now enjoy a period of tranquility and calm down his murderous spirit.

The original plan was to reunite with his father in Country A for a couple of months, but now, after only two days at home, he was kicked back to the country by his parents. They claimed that he needed to resolve the mess he had created. And this mess they were referring to was Xue Meiqi, his fiancée whom he had yet to marry.

They had been childhood sweethearts, engaged to each other since they were children, and inseparable. It made sense that with such a foundation, they should have gotten married and had children by now.

As soon as Xu Haotian arrived at the hotel entrance, a security officer stopped him, "Sir, can I help you?"

"I'm waiting for someone."

Xu Haotian replied and attempted to walk past the security officer into the hotel, but the security officer quickly blocked Xu Haotian. Was this guy just trying to bum some air conditioning? If it were anyone else, he might have let them pass, but not with him, Wang Ergou. He could not allow this man to loiter.

"Sorry, but we do not serve those who are not properly dressed."

Xu Haotian looked down at his attire, trying to figure out how his dressing was inappropriate.

Just then, a Porsche pulled up, and a thirty-something young man wearing an Armani suit and shiny leather shoes walked in. Another security guard quickly greeted him, "Sir, how can I assist you? Are you here for a meal or to stay?"

The young man didn't even look at him, "The sun is too hot. I need some air conditioning."

Another security guard hurriedly replied, "Yes, the sun is quite harsh, here is your rest area."

Watching another security guard escort the young man to the relaxation area, Wang Er Gou then pointed to the young man's back and said, "Just like the gentleman before, please tidy up your clothes and come back."

Xu Hao Tian suddenly understood, his mind filled with a sense of incredulity. It was not him being poorly dressed, but because he didn't arrive in a Porsche! Looking at the time and considering he had just landed, wanting to change clothes or buy a car was not feasible. He grew impatient and pushed Wang Er Gou to the side.

The crisp sound of a slap echoed in the room, leaving everyone frozen in disbelief. The security guards hadn't expected Xu Haotian to actually hit someone. The leader of the security team was completely dumbfounded, covering his struck left cheek as he stared at Xu Haotian in disbelief.

However, Xu Haotian didn't grant them much time to contemplate. He started throwing punches left and right, each one landing with a screaming guard ending on the floor within seconds.

The leader of the security team felt a chill in his heart. He had encountered a tough opponent today. Just as he was considering retreating, Xu Haotian spoke, "Hey, don't leave now."

"S-Sir, I was wrong. I admit it. You can't hit me. I work for Mr. Hong. If he finds out, he’ll trouble you."

The leader of the security attempted to admit defeat while mentioning his backer, trying to intimidate Xu Haotian.

"As I said earlier, I am a fair guy. It wouldn’t be right of me to beat all of them to the ground and leave you standing now, would it?”

With that, Xu Haotian threw a punch and knocked down the leader. As Xu Haotian's gaze swept over the receptionist, she quickly lowered her head in fear.

Satisfied, Xu Haotian brushed off his hands and squatted down in front of the leader, "So, can I go to the resting area now?"

"Yes, yes, you may." the leader of the security team quickly nodded.

Observing Xu Haotian heading to the rest area, Wang Ergou only then crawled over, hoisting up the leading security guard. "Brother Min, we can’t just let this pass. We must ask Boss Hong to stand up for us, we need to deal with this young punk."

"We’ve crossed a line now."

Brother Min responded, resentment gleaming in his eyes as he glanced at Xu Haotian. However, even though he knew Boss Hong, Boss Hong wouldn't bother with a lowly security guard like him. So, for the time being, he could only swallow his pride.
