There was a woman who was giving birth to a cute little girl. It was almost midnight and there was no light in the clinic. The hospital is too old and the weird thing is only the quarter moon gave them light.

The baby girl came out, and she never cried, just like other babies who got born. The tiny room was filled with the sadness of the child’s family. They wipe away their tears because they thought that the cute baby girl didn't make it.

Little did they know, there was someone who was keeping an eye on that child and watching them from afar. That someone is supposed to pick up the child’s soul, but instead of fetching her soul, that someone breaks a rule and left a black rose that made the child cry, and the family smiled again.

In the human world, the black rose means death. But in that person's world, it means to live again. To sum up the story, the baby who died, that he supposedly needed to bring or pick up the soul, became alive again because he left her a black rose.

Which is a very forbidden rose and a rule in that person's world. There was a rule in their world that they needed to pick up the soul properly and never try to save them and never used a black rose because it's a forbidden one.

One of the family members picks up the black rose that was left behind on the side table and said “I think it is that child’s lucky charm, let’s keep it.” Almost everyone agreed and even the parents but, the grandma said it will give them bad luck and just throw it away. The mother never wanted to throw it away, instead, she said she will keep it.

After a week of staying at the old clinic, the whole family went back to Manila. The whole family is just having a vacation a week ago before the woman gave birth to a child.

The mother never forgot to thank the deities for giving her a chance to let her child live. Little did she know, it wasn’t the deities who created a miracle.

It is that someone who is receiving a punishment now, for letting a dead person come back to life and using a black rose that is very forbidden. That person is, the black rose’s owner.

That black rose is forbidden to use in that someone’s world unless it is necessary. It was used hundreds of years ago and the one and last person that used it became ashes. That person became ashes as a punishment. That’s why the deities are getting mad at someone who used a black rose again but that someone is very special.

A very special someone whom you cannot touch or harm. If you did, you will be in trouble, the trouble you can’t fix alone. So, as much as you can, avoid making him mad. That kid is very naughty and loves to always wander around the human world and interact with humans. Technically, he was born in the human world and he just doesn’t know about it. Maybe that is also a reason why he fell in love with being in the human world?

To be honest, he was only there to do his job. To collect the human soul. But today, he made big trouble that he can’t escape.

Will he become ashes too just like the last one who gets a hold of the black rose? Can he ever find out the first and last owner of the black rose? Can he ever figure out why he can touch the black rose? When in fact, no one ever did especially the black magic because of the rumors that the black magic and rose can give you harm. The last person who touches the black rose is the only one who's brave enough to do so.

Is this kid the same? Will he follow that someone’s path?
