Chapter 1

" Argghh ", jason screamed as he opened one of his eyes and saw me .

" stand up you lazy bone, you will make me late for work again, " I yelled at him, he ignored me, turned his back on me and keep sleeping .

I was furious by now, but I have to keep calm.Jason is the only family I had now , so i don't like to see him in pain , I slightly pushed him and he fell down like a log on the floor .

" sister, you are wicked, let me enjoy my sleep for God's sake ", he screamed still closing his eyes . I signed, I was already running late for my new work

I don't want to get fired on my first day at my new job , the pay is quite good

I thought on what to do to wake jason up . An idea run into my mind , I left for the bathroom and get some water. I went back to the bathroom and sprinkled it over him tarketing his face , as he screamed my name in his sleep

" brenda ........., what is the hell you are trying to do ??", he said rushing up, I smirked .

" my lazy brother, check the time " I said softly pointing over the wall clock .

He looked up at the clock , he stood immediately, he rushed towards the bathroom .

" sister , I am sorry ", he said softly , I quickly rushed into the kitchen to make a quick noodle and bacon . I went back to the Jason bedroom and saw him dressing for school, I smiled and went to my bedroom to freshen up , I took off my pajamas and tied a towel around my breast , I run a hot bath and bath , time isn't on my side , I also brush my teeth.

I went into the bathroom and dress up, I went down to the living room and meet Jason already dressed up , he was sitting on the couch pressing his phone . He haven't say anything to me, I was worried ,since daddy and mummy part ways, he had changed from the talkative to a quiet and shy guy, I know he was hurt inside , anytime I talk to him about it, he will shut me up , I quickly set the table .

" Jason, you're food is ready ", I shouted from the dinning room , He hurriedly and sat down, we ate in silent , I was trying to eat but I watched Jason as he only pick his food, I signed.

" Jason boy , why are you not eating" I said jokely

" sister, I am not a boy , I am a guy ", he said still refused to look up

"Okay, it's only a boy that pick his food , man eat up hurriedly ", I said smiling .

He looked at me, " sister , aren't you angry at me ", he said sadly

," no, why will I be angry with my big brother ", I said jokely

" sister I am sorry ", he said sadly trying to hold the tears from falling, I stood up and goes to him .

" Jason , are you okay "???, I said with concerned .

The tears forcely rushed from his eyes as he nod his head .

" why are you crying Jason ", I asked??, " sister, why is mum and dad so wicked to abandoned us here , he said soberly

" Jason , dad and mum are not God, they followed their heart. but we have God, we should be thankful ", I said .

" you don't know what I am facing , I am being mocked, I am being bullied , just because of wicked and heartless parents , he screamed!!!!,,I don't know why he was doing all this

" Jason, who bullied you???, who mocked you ??," I managed to say. tears dropped from my eyes, we both sniff .

" I will have to report to your school and warned whoever's bullied you. he nod , " sister, no, please don't come and report this ", he said, frightly

I nod", promised me that you won't allow anybody to bully you again, Jason, nobody has the right to bully you , no matter what happens or what you are facing ", I said still sobbing , he nod., " now, smile , handsome and cutest brother ", he smiled, I checked the food, it's already cold, I stood up , the food is cold, you are already late for school, let get going ", I said , and you packed the food and plate to the kitchen .

We walked out of the compound, my car is waiting, my Camry is a gift from daddy on my 18th birthday

I love it. I remember that daddy throw a party For me, I was happy not knowing that it will be the last time we will be happy together .

The next day, daddy accused mummy of infidelity , I beg the pardon,

Although I have my dad's blue eyes, I am tropical sea goddess , i took after mum in beauty , she was a model before marriage, according to dad and mum, she was an idol worship by all the men in the state , her name makes men smile talk less of seeing her men folks around her like magnet but always push them off, even when they will promised her heaven and earth , she ignored them, the laughing thing is how father asks her out in the first place .
