"Hey Samantha!You've been there for long.What are you thinking about?"I looked at my father as he arose into our house.He just came back from selling eggplants.

　　"Did you sell much today Dad?"well I think he did not.The basket that he carried is still full.As expected,he shakes his head.

　　"I guess this is going to be our lunch again today!"He looked at me as he handed me the eggplants.

　　I smiled to my Dad to assure him that its okay!Who doesnt want eggplants right?

　　I bought the basket in the kitchen and prepare a coffee for my Dad.I think,my addiction to coffee starts with him!

　　I saw him lounging in the chair outside!He smiled as he smells the aroma of coffee I gave to him!

　　"Where are siblings by the way?"he asked me.

　　"Manuel is in school and Brian is with Inana

Thats how we call our grandmother,the mother of our mother

I saw him nod.

　　"Life here is not as easy as it was before"he stated as he sip his cup of coffee."Your coffee really taste good Sam"I smiled for the complement I just heard.

　　Sam is my nickname..Everybody in the family calls me that..for I am Samantha Bennette,the the eldest in the siblings.We are four!Me,Jenivive,Manuel at our youngest Brian.We are not rich but we are not that poor.We still eat three times a day!My mom and dad saw to it that we will finished school whatever the circumstances is.And through hardwork by selling eggplants,my sister Jenivive and I have graduated in college.Two more to go!

　　"Dad..I want to tell you something!"

　　He gazed at me before I can say a word "Don't tell me your'e pregnant!

　　"Ofcourse not Dad!I haven't see Berwin for quite sometime now.We are both busy this past few days.

　　"Just make sure Samatha..I did not raised you and sent you to school just to be pregnant at that young age."I just rolled my eyes to my Dad's statement.That's exaggerated!Twenty is not that young.

　　"Exactly!That is why I'm planning to go to Taiwan,to earn money,so I can help you and Mom with all the expenses."

　　I dont know what is exactly my father feels at the moment,but I swear I saw his eyes get watered before he looked away.

　　"That's too far from here Sam.We can't be there for you whenever you need us."

　　I put my arm around him "I know Dad!But I have to do that.I want to give our family a chance to have a better life and that's little sacrifice compared to what you have given us.

　　"Are you really sure about that Sam?"I nodded."Well then,you have to convinced your Mom too..Does Berwin already knew about this?"

　　"No..we haven't talk!"

　　"I guess,you should start talking to him first..goodluck!"he teased me as he walked inside the house.

　　I was left alone and worried.The biggest hindrance is not my parents consent but my boyfriend's approval.

　　Without giving much thought,I pulled my cellphone out of my pocket and started typing a message for him..After a few minutes,with no reply,I decided to give him a call but he canceled it.Maybe he is busy at the moment.I was about to put my phone back in my pocket when it suddenly rang.I smiled when I saw the caller, it was Bearwin.

　　"Hi Babe!"I said as I answer his call

　　"What is it?Can't it wait?Why do you have to call?"I didn't not expect it from him.Maybe today is not a good time.

　　"I'm sorry if you're busy let's just talk later.I have something to discuss to you."

　　"Cut it out Samantha,I already lose the game because of that call.So what is it?"

　　That explains it,he's annoyed because he lose the game.I decided to ignore it and took some courage to tell him about my plan.

　　"Uhmm...I got a new job offer..."I'm still looking for the right words,when he interrupt me.

　　"Thats it Sammy?You called just to boost about that?"he really sound pissed off so I was also irritated..I didn't care how he felt anymore so I decided to say it directly.

　　"It's in Taiwan.My job offer is in Taiwan."
