Ever since my so-called vampire senses have awakened, I've been feeling cold all of a sudden. I keep hissing for no reason and I'm always thirsty not to mention------BLOOD. I keep having the urge to bite someone's neck and get to have a vision where I can see their veins.

My parents say that it's already time for me but for Satan's sake, they wouldn't tell me what that "Time" really means.

They just told me to pack my stuff and get ready to leave my hometown. I was stunned. Leave Northwoods? No way. No freaking way. My life is here. My friends. My attractive boyfriend Kaius. I don't want to leave.

"Reiven, did you start packing up?" My mother asked.

I looked at her and grimed a smile. "Yeah sure.”

But I wasn't thinking of packing and moving away. It was the other way around. I thought of running off to my boyfriend’s house and live in with him until he dies of old age. I might even turn him into one if only I knew how. My parents told me that it isn't that easy to turn someone into a vampire like it takes practice.

At exactly 10 in the evening, I jumped out from my window and run straight to Kaius' house. I wanted to surprise him so I just barged in the house using the keys he gave me when we started going out. We haven't done anything yet but I'm willing to give all my firsts to him. I love him so much to death. He's so handsome, charming and not to mention those abs that turns me on whenever I take a peek.

I tiptoed as I went up his room then suddenly caught another scent besides Kaius. Like I said, my senses have become sharp ever since I have awakened my vampire-ish hormones.

Alarmed, I quickly kicked the door of his bedroom, leading it to destruction. My eyes were fixed on Kaius----kissing a dark haired--guy? Not to mention but I'd rather do. He was leaning on top of him and worst, they're doing it on his study table. Shit. School stuff and clothes were scattered on the carpet. What the actual hell. My boyfriend is having sex with a guy who has the same number abs as him. They got startled and quickly pulled out his whatever the heck they have and stopped what they were doing just seconds ago.

"Wow." I said, perplexed. I didn't know if I should close my eyes or stare at two toned naked men.

"Rei..I.." His voice trailed off, unable to say something.

I, too, was unable to say something except for. "I.. Didn’t know you were interested with guys.." I said, stunned.

"I-I'm sorry." he said apologetically but I didn't care. I looked at him with anger and disappointment inside me. After going out for years, I can't believe he hooked up with a guy. Or was he a gay in the first place?

"You should have told me if you want to have sex with me!" I blurted out furiously.

"It's not like that."

"Then what?! What is it?!"

"We love each other.." He said.

"Love? What about me Kaius?" I asked like someone who's desperate for a "Yes" answer.

"I do.. But.."

I fought back tears or maybe I didn't really find it that tearful. "But what?,"

"I tried. ." His voice trailed off.

"How long has this been going on?"

He was silent for a while. "A..Month." I stared at him and the guy behind him pursing my lips.

"Rei." he walked in front of me and held out his hand but I pushed him away.

"Don't touch me!" I stared at him in horror. He was naked and his friend down there standing in all glory. The dark haired guy who was with him was just

watching us like a movie straight from the screen. Great. I should have bought him some popcorn.

"I'm really--"

I cut in. "I hate you!"

"I'm sorry. I'm really sorry Rei.."

"Sorry isn't enough!" I hissed.

"Rei.." he followed me down the door.

"Shut up." I said coldly, not looking back.

"Rei!" He called again, shouting this time.

I spun around. "Shut up you jerk! Don't call me that. And for Satan's sake, put some clothes on."

After saying those, I walked away not minding him calling my name. I stopped at our house and went straight to my bedroom. I don't know what's happening

to me but I suddenly laughed at myself and dozed to sleep. In my dreams, I did not really love Kaius as I have thought all along.

At dawn, I found myself bidding goodbye to my parents.

"Take care." My father said with a smile painted on his face. I found his smile suspicious but then they always have been suspicious in so many ways.

"Aren't you guys coming with me?" I asked. They're sending me to an unknown place. No map or summary of the place they were going to send me to.

"No. We've got work to do. You can visit us on vacations." My mother answered.

"But.."

My mother handed me some a wallet full of cards. "These are your key cards, bank and credit cards.”

"Goodbye. Be good." My father pushed me inside the taxi. More of he is excited that I'm leaving. I wouldn't be surprised if I would have a younger sibling if I

ever come home one day.

"Fine. Don't push me." I said grimly.

The next that happened was that I'm heading to the train station. I stared at the cards she gave me and it creeped me out.

"You going to Transylvania?" The driver asked.

"Yeah sure if that's where I'm going." I answered annoyingly.

"Do you know Transylvania?" He asked.

I stared outside. "No clue at all.” I breathed a sigh. I didn't even know I was a vampire in the first place. I just found out a week ago when my parents told me that my vampire senses were sealed and would only come back when I was legal of age and that was 18. I was excited to go to college with Kaius. Cliché. It's not how I planned my life but it's better than going to college with a cheater. I felt uncomfortable as I remembered them doing the deed in his study table. On the nice part I've got to see some view. Okay. I should stop.

"It's not the Transylvania you know of and only prestigious vampires can afford to study there."

I just looked at him and turned my attention outside. I wasn't in the mood to talk with any stranger. I didn't know anything of those levels of life in the vampire world. I grew up knowing there was the poor, middle and rich class. Nothing more. I do hope they tell me about it wherever I would be heading. And I really hope that I would meet good vampires, sort of.

A guy wearing uniform took my suitcase and escorted me in an underground train station. It was another train station which I never knew existed here in Northwoods. I entered the train myself after the guy took my suitcase to the luggage area. I found a spot, closed the sliding door and sat down then suddenly drifted to sleep.

Due to my noisy environment, I woke up and found myself looking at an unusual scene. Lips to lips. Tongue to tongue.

They stopped kissing.

"Sorry, did we wake you up?" The dark haired girl with innocent looking emerald eyes asked me.

I wanted to say of course but on the other hand, I doubted my answer so I just gave her a smile.

"No. Not at all."

"Is that so?" She asked.

"Yeah. I'm okay with it. Go ahead and kiss."

She giggled. "Later. I don't want you to watch us kiss while you don't have a kissing partner."

I laughed. "No, I mean it. It's fine with me."

"We'll just continue when we get home. For the mean time, get us something to drink will you?" She said, looking at the guy.

The guy grinned and gave her a kiss. A long one. A very long one. I felt thirsty. Are they going to eat each other's mouth? I just watched them like I'm watching a movie scene with R-18 on it. He ended the kiss and left. Thirty seconds. I counted in my mind.

"Sorry," She chirped. "I just love his kisses." She giggled cutely.

I furrowed my brows. "Okay?" I replied not knowing what to say.

"I'm Eve Ashford. The guy who I was kissing is Lukas Nightray. He's the current president of St. Eve Academy student council and my boyfriend, obviously." She said proudly.

"I'm sorry. No idea about those. I just found out that I am a vampire when I turned eighteen and here I am." I answered.

"No big deal. They have extra classes for newbie vampires like you." She winked.

I mouthed. "Oh," because I couldn't think of anything to say. Then I looked down on her chests. "You're tits are showing." I spoke as I noticed. She has kind a

like a tattoo which looked like a pattern in between her chest and it looked pretty. She looked at her unbuttoned clothes and fixed them. She hot though.

"If you're thinking of kissing me, better not. My boyfriend will pull your head off and one thing, I'm straight."

The word struck me. Kaius again. My eyes rolled at the back of my head.

"I'm not a gay." I said firmly.

"Ahh. Not you but your ex boyfriend." She smirked.

"Hey, stop reading me." I pouted.

"I can't help it. My bad. It's a habit and a talent." She winked.

"Yeah sure." I rolled my eyes.

"If you're looking for a kissing partner, tell me. I have a step brother. He's attractive, tempting me to kiss him,"

"And?" I asked curiously.

"And guess what!"

"What?"

"He kissed me back!" She exclaimed, her eyes shining and shimmering that I almost choked.

"But he's your brother." I muttered.

"So what? We're not really siblings though. I think that's legal." She laughed.

I laughed faintly. "Yeah. Sure. Whatever you say."

There was a silence between us until her so called boyfriend came back. He sure is attractive. Someone who would take you to bed seductively and make you moan with passion. He handed me a can of black coffee which I gladly accepted.

"I told her our names." Eve said.

"A pleasure to meet you." He smiled attractively.

"I'm Reiven Ashtal," I introduced. "It's a pleasure to meet you both." I said.

Lukas laughed. "Great. If you like you can join us in the Vampire Student Council.”

I smiled grimly. "I'll see if I can."

"You can. You'll have a kissing partner everyday if you join us." Lukas winked with a playful grin.

I rolled my eyes. "I'm not interested in kissing."

"You never experienced a kiss?" Eve asked curiously.

"I did."

"What kind of kiss?" It was Lukas asking this time.

"Just a peck. It's no big deal.”

"So you're a virgin?" Eve asked.

I sipped my coffee and they stared at me, their eyes reaping through my soul. "Yes." I answered.

"You'll be popular. Male students would love to bet on who will take your virginity." Lukas spoke.

"Is that how it works in your school?" I asked curiously.

"Well not really but newbie vampires are always the talk of town. And you being a virgin are a thrill game. Come on Reiven, you never tried it so don't think of

it that way. Promise, sex is fun." Eve winked.

Disgusting. I just rolled my eyes at them and closed my eyes which I shouldn't have because I dreamt of myself running away from virgin-eating vampires.

We arrived that afternoon in Transylvania Train Station. I noticed snow surrounding the area. Not much of snow falling down but I couldn't help but to notice.

"It's snowing. It’s supposed to be summer." I mumbled.

"We're near North Pole. Don't worry, you'll get used to it." Eve answered.

I just nodded and stared at my new environment. The driver was right. This is not the Transylvania I know of. It's a different place. While scanning my environment, I noticed a tall looking building by the dark side of the forest. It was somewhat old. Maybe built around the ancient times or so.

"That's the Academy we're studying." Eve spoke from behind. I turned to look at her and she smiled. "Welcome to Transylvania Reiven. I hope you endure the school year. Let me know if you have any suggestions. My family owns the academy." She winked.

"Doesn't look like an academy for me. More like a haunted house." I muttered.

"You're in a Vampire Society not in a dollhouse," She snorted then looked at me. "Do you know where you will be staying?" She asked.

I took out the envelope my mother gave me which says house keys and showed it to Eve.

She smirked, "Looks like we are neighbors unless you want to use the other key which is the same neighborhood as my step-brother."

I quickly shook my head in disagreement.

"Are you sure?" She teased.

I gulped. In my head, Eve is never gonna stop teasing me until I give in.
