My name is Isabel, two years ago the first sighting of Them occurred. They were two men who appeared to have killed each other and a witness while drunk, but upon closer inspection by officials, traces of an unknown substance were found at the scene. We call this substance "It," and It makes whoever comes in skin-to-skin contact, or breathes it in, go crazy. It only affects adults or teenagers who are physically and mentally mature for whatever reason.

　　One year ago on August 6th my parents were killed due to our apartment building being set on fire by Them while I was at school. Since then I've been begging and stealing from the houses abandoned by Them until I met my savior. They look just like normal humans, They walk, talk, eat, and do anything else a normal human would do... except for the fact that They kill. I'm told Their urge to kill is that of my urge to eat as I sit here and starve while seeing rich kids and middle class kids eating their food without a second thought. When I ask to have a bite most of them ask if my parents ever taught me manners and keep walking, but Lily... when I met her I haven't been so hungry.

　　Two weeks ago I saw a girl walking alone, beautiful smooth black skin, pom-pom black hair in two bobs atop her head, and a box of popcorn.

ummm please don't mind any spelling/grammar mistakes, also if some stuff doesn't make sense I'm sorry I'm gonna try my best, I'm also gonna try and make it sound scary but as of right now I really don't have a single clue what I'm doing haha! So umm wish me luck and hope I don't fail/give up! One good way to stop me from giving up is if I see people appreciate my work also another reason I'm writing this is because each chapter has to be 500 words and the intro is kinda short. Also wish me luck on making the main character actually sound shy... I'm not a very shy person so uhm that's an issue and I haven't even decided what to call these "monsters" or even names for anything but I have a feeling if this is a total fail at least I tried! So I'm close to 500 words now and I'm gonna do a chapter outro I guess :D
