Gaia Overfield is a typical 16-year-old teenager. She mostly likes exploring the world and drawing. She lives in a house filled with three and plants. So, she has developed a habit of loving and appreciate all of the living things around her. In comparison, she was nice to her friends. Gaia never knew her mother. Only her Dad was there for her when she needed him. He taught Gaia everything she knows.

From her early childhood, Gaia felt like she was an outcast. It wasn't because the others were mean to her. It was because she adored nature so much that she would always talk about it, and others found it to be a little odd. Gaia managed to find good friends, John, Drake, Elizabeth, Aqua, Claudia, and Hardin. Ever since the day they met Gaia, meeting Gaia changed their life forever.

Gaia was always the most nature-loving out of all of them, and she would throw parties and attend to some of them, but not every party she wanted. Gaia wanted answers to why she behaves differently from others, and she still is looking for that answer. One day everything changed when Gaia was walking in the forest. Gaia was wearing her travel gear and decided to explore the woods near her because she loved nature, and she invited others to join but didn't have much time to do it. Gaia has brown hair and green eyes. She was walking in the first for quite some time before noticing that John, her best friend arrived," Hey, John", Gaia shouted from another side.

John was exploring the forest himself before he heard Gaia shouting his name. He is wearing brown shorts, hiking boots, and a brown shirt with a grey backpack on his shoulders, packed with notebooks and class books. John always travels like this because he likes to explore things. Also, he prefers to do it alone, but he always enjoys having company while on his research trips. John Schneider is 17 years old, he has brown eyes, and he has short brown straight hair. He always takes notes on every of his trip. John is attracted to gems. He was growing in a place filled with rocks, so he has developed a need for finding out everything there is to know about the gems," Hey, Gaia, how are you?", John asked and he approached her.

"I am very well. I just love this view, thank you for asking, and how are you?".

"I am good too, I was just about to call you and invite you here, but it appears that you have beaten me in that".

"Well, I was going to go here tomorrow, but the forest has such an amazing view that I just couldn't resist going today. What brought you here?".

"I was just exploring the forest, and I would like to know everything I can know about this forest and each turn of it".

"Sounds like fun. Mind if I tag along?".

"No, I don't mind, I could always use some company, especially on days like these. I am happy that it was you and not someone else".

"So, where are we going to go next?" Gaia asked with enthusiasm.

"I think we should take this path" John extended his hand to the east path," Because this is the only path we haven't explored, and it would be fun to find out everything there is to know about this part of the forest".

"I guess you are right. It would be fun to find out everything there is to know about this forest".

"Is everything alright?".

"Yeah, everything is fine. What would make you ask me that?".

"Well, you look kind of very stressed, and I was just wondering if everything is alright?".

"I guess you are right because I feel some stress, and this forest has something different from all of the other forests that just doesn't sit with me".

"What do you think it could be?".

"I don't know, but let's go and check out that place before it gets dark", Gaia rushed, and John followed her, and they were about to reach the end of that path when they stumbled into a giant tree. It was a willow ancient, probably 100 years to be exact," This willow tree looks fantastic", Gaia checked it out.

"It is an old one too. From what I can tell, this isn't a normal willow tree".

"How come?".

"Well, for starters, it is ancient, and it shouldn't be alive at this point, and there is a strange marking in the middle of the tree".

"Do you think it could mean something?", Gaia asked and she came to John where he had seen that marking.

"I don't know. It looks like a maple tree leaf-shaped mark mixed with the leaves of this tree".

"There is writing, over there", Gaia noticed and told John. He came closer to take a better look at it.

"7 gems, seven lives, one gem that rules all, if you are reading this, it means you have found my secret signed by Liana, I have no idea what it could mean", John looked at Gaia, and her hair was glowing in green," Gaia is everything alright?".

"Yes, everything is alright, I am just a little scared, that's all and that writing" Gaia placed her hand on it," It was my mom's writing".

"Are you sure about it?".

"Yes, I am sure I haven't seen it in such a long time, and I have no idea what she means".

"Do you need a minute?".

"No, I am fine, let's continue" Gaia removed her hand from the writing, and it started to glow in green. After the glowing stopped, a small star-shaped hole opened with a small box.

"Okay, now I know that this is out of normal".

"What were you trying to hide from me, mom?" Gaia wondered. She took the box and opened it only to find a leaf-shaped green gem," Just a gem?" Gaia picked it up, and nothing happened.

"Hey, Gaia, are you okay?" John asked and snapped his fingers a couple of times to see if Gaia is awake.

"Yeah, I am fine, just a little confused and dizzy, but I will be fine".

"Are you sure that you will be fine?".

"Yes, I am sure, now that we have explored the forest, let's go to others" Gaia picked the box, and there were some letters in it, but she closed it.

"Sure, how about we go to Drake's place?" John suggested.

"That would be nice, now let's go", Gaia said, and both of them went to Drake's place because they were done with the forest.
