Chapter 1

　　Falling in love is a very normal thing, specially if you are a student. Like me, I have a crush, and she's so really gorgeous. By the way, she's Blythe Mernado. Just like me, she's also a sophomore student on the Architecture Department.

　　For me, Blythe is the only living goddess in the whole University, and it's because of the unique visuals that she had. She's the only reason why my heart beats abnormal whenever she's near. She's the only one who can do it, really.

　　I've been courting her for several times but got rejected several times as well. But despite that, that doesn't make me to give up on her. It only cost me to pursue myself more to make her mine. Yes, I'm really determined when it comes to courting her.

　　That's how we humans really are when we like someone, right? We will try to court the person we love. We will wait no matter how long it will take us, as long as we will be accepted in the end. You know that in the end, all your determination will be worth it and all your hardships will be paid off.

　　"I think this will be enough. I'm sure she'll be going to like this and this time, she'll accept me to be her boyfriend." I muttered with so much confidence while sniffing the sweet scent of the sunflower bouquet that I'm holding.

　　Tan give me a frowned expression. "Why are you so determinate to court her where in fact, she had rejected you for a damn several times?"

　　"Yeah, he's right." Rian seconded. "It's almost five months since the day that you started courting her. And then what? You're still stuck at courting."

　　"Tsk! I wouldn't be surprised anymore if you'll get rejected this time, I swear." Kerd added, one of my best friends.

　　I sighed. "You can only say that because you're not in my position at all." I smirked. "But once you'll be in the same situation as me, trust me, I will laugh myself out while looking at the three of you."

　　The three of them just frowned at me, Tan even dared to glare. Tsk, crazy.

　　"M, she's here!" Rian suddenly announced which causes me to lose my chill.

　　I prepared myself up and then face my friends. "How do I look like? Do I look presentable? Do I have dirt on my face?"

　　"Come on, you're already good-looking. Trust your dull charms my friend." He cracked a joke. "Kidding aside. Haha."

　　I sighed once more and then turned my back to my friends. I think I'm going to melt the moment I laid my eyes on Blythe. She's with her friend, Blanche.

　　I started walking towards their direction. "Hi there, Blythe." I greeted her, then forced a smile to her friend.

　　She looked at me and then flashed a small smile, "Hi."

　　"Uhm, for you." I muttered as I handed her the sunflower bouquet that I'm holding.

　　Her lips suddenly parted as she looked at me. "Ah," she looked to her friend and then to the flowers, it's as if she's having second thoughts.

　　I'm still smiling even though my heart was pumping so hard which causes me to sweat more. I can't believe that she can cause me like this, damn. Not only that, but I'm so in love with this girl.

　　"Wow, flowers." Blanche said, then she faced her friend. "So beautiful."

　　"Should I take it?" I heard Blythe whispered to her friend.

　　I gulped.

　　"It's up to you," Blanche shrugged her shoulders. "But if I were you, I would gladly accept it."

　　Blythe sighed. She faced me and then smiled, that cause me to smile as well.

　　"Uhm, thanks for this." She muttered as she received the flowers from me. "But,"

　　She intended to cut her words. Now I am damn nervous but still manage to smile in front of her.

　　"I know you're still pursuing yourself to court me even though I already told you to stop." She glanced at the bouquet. "And, I can't guarantee you that your feelings for me will be reciprocated." She sighed. "Uhm Maverick, I'm letting you to court me as long as you wanted to but don't make your hopes up, okay? I don't want you to get hurt in the end."

　　Even though I'm hurt, I still forced myself to nod, as well as flashed a very fake smile. "It's okay, I understand. And one more thing, I'm the one who keeps on bothering you, so it's not really necessary for you to mind me."

　　"Uhm," she smiled. "I'm glad that we're clear. By the way, thank you for these flowers. I appreciated it a lot."

　　"Yeah, sure."

　　"So I guess, we're off now. We still have a Laboratory Class and yeah, I hope you won't mind if we'll go now?"

　　I smiled and nodded. "Yeah, why not. Take care, bye."

　　I was just looking at them as they are heading towards their direction. Then I face my friends the moment they disappear on my eyes.

　　"By just looking at your face, I can tell that you got rejected, again." He mocked.

　　I tsk-ed. "Sure did," I muttered.

　　"See? Told you," Rian bragged. "You're not improving, dude. You're still stuck in courting."

　　"I know, no need to brag. You're hurting me." I answered then chuckled.

　　"So, what's your plan?" Tan asked.

　　"What's new? Some good old days, still going to court her tho."

　　"What?!" Kerd burst out. "You're still going to court her? You have gone crazy to her beauty that much, huh?"

　　"It's not questionable man, come'on."

　　"Oh God, you're impossible."

　　The second day that follows, I gave Blythe an expensive anklet. I don't care if that costs me too much, it's still worth it though because she accepted it. But of course, she still reminded me about what she did the last two days.

　　On the following day, I treated her and Blanche for a lunch. I even treated her for snacks so that she won't starved to death. She accepted it, but the words are still there. It even came to a point that I can now memorized it because she keeps on reminding me for an uncountable times.

　　I had given her lots of stuffs that I'm glad she accepted. Teddy bear, bouquet of expensive flowers that has sweet scents, necklace, bracelet, expensive bags, branded purse and many more. But I didn't mind the expenses, because it's for her. To the woman that I absolutely love.
