When I opened my eyes, my brother yelled my name, and I jumped off the bed as soon as possible. When I was with him, my life became a living hell. He was so uncooperative that he wouldn't even give me my inheritance or let me live anywhere else but his home. And no, he wasn't the kind of brother who looked out for his sisters; I had my doubts about whether or not we were even related biologically. He treated me like a toy or more so as a fortune; he always said: "you're the most beautiful she-wolf in the pack and maybe in the whole werewolves kingdom, I can find you a very wealthy Alpha to be your mate."   as well as the absolute certainty that he was only interested in his own advantages.

When Daniel found out how much I cared for Ramos, he almost confined me to the house by locking all of the doors and windows. When I turned 18, Ramos and I finally admitted to each other that he was my true MATE. I am not yet 21 years old, and I am still pleading with my brother to give me permission to become officially mated to Ramos. Although he was not wealthy, Ramos was a middle-ranked wolf.

The mid-rank wolves aren't quite as powerful as the alpha wolves, but they're also not as helpless as the omega wolves. This is where the vast majority of wolves can be found, and it also contains a good number of elders. These wolves will assist in taking care of wolf pups as well as providing protection for them.

It seems that Ramos was the kindest wolf in the history of the species. It had been three years since we had started our relationship, and he was everything I could have ever hoped for in a mate.

I didn't care about anything other than being in his presence.

"Evelynnnnn, it's time for you to wake up now," Daniel yelled my name again.

It's possible that he's been drinking too much, or even worse, that he blew a significant portion of his life savings on the casinos. There is no question that he had a poor gambling record. He was saddled with a large number of debts.

Daniel burst into my room and demanded to know what I was up to up until this point. " Sleeping?”

I glanced at my watch and saw that it was still six o'clock in the morning. " What exactly do you anticipate that I will have accomplished by this early hour?"

I didn't dare move an inch because I didn't want him to hit me because he smelled like he had been drinking, and he was getting closer to me. I took a tense breath in and out while simultaneously attempting to avert my gaze from his. He scratched his chin and stared at me as if I were his rival, not his younger sister, not as if my late parents had asked him to take care of me after they passed away.

I felt my skin crawl at the sight of his eyes, and I asked Daniel, "Do you need anything from me?"

He nodded, examining me in an animalistic manner as if he were going to eat my body; despite this, I knew he would never touch my body, but I always knew that someday he might do something moronic.

Daniel eventually broke the silence and said, "yes, the alpha wants you tonight.  I want you to shower and have everything in order by nine o'clock tonight. In other words, I'll be right over to pick you up."

I narrowed my eyes slightly and asked, "What exactly do you mean by that?"  The question "What am I going to do with him?" comes to mind.

Daniel raised his brow, "no more questions."

“but…” I attempted to protest, but Daniel quickly slapped me across the face, causing me to remain silent.

As soon as Daniel left my room, I locked the door and called Ramos.

My voice was stuttering as I tried to say, "R-Ramos, please, we need to meet up after one hour.  It is of the utmost importance."

However, Ramos was in another country selling medical products, so he was not in the pack. Yes, after his parents were killed in an attack when he was eight years old, one of his father's friends raised him and later requested his assistance in his work. When Ramos was 22 years old, he became his partner, and today, Ramos is 27 years old and earns a really good amount of money every month.

"Evelyn, what could possibly be the problem? I am currently traveling outside of the country, but I promise that I will make every effort to make it back in time for dinner tonight."  It appeared as though Ramos was getting nervous when he heard my voice.

And I had no idea where I was going; I tried not to show my fear in front of him, but I was petrified the entire time.

"It's fine, but I'd appreciate it if you could get here no later than 7 o'clock. I cannot function properly without you. My brother has informed me that he is going to deliver me to the alpha's residence by nine o'clock tonight."  I had no choice but to tell him.

“what? Why? I promise to make every effort to arrive at your location earlier. I told you that we should get away from here and mate before we do anything else. I was aware that your brother was acting in a way that was not in your best interest!"  Daniel began to cough, and I could even hear the irregularity in his breaths through the phone.

"I am prepared to make a break for it with you. I am ready to run away with you tonight. I will be there waiting for you at seven o'clock tonight." As soon as I recognized my brother's voice, I terminated the call immediately.

Daniel pounded furiously with all of his strength on the door, demanding angrily, "Open up this fucking door! Or I shall smash it."

Daniel snatched the cellphone out of my hand and checked the last name that was dialed on the phone. He then said, "so, you called your idiot Ramos!  Ha? Then it's settled: let's see if he can get you first or if he can take down the alpha."

“What!” I was shaking and asked him, "What the heck do you mean?" with eyes that were worried and unable to focus properly. You are aware that Ramos and I are true mates and that we are deeply in love with one another."

But Daniel smacked me in the face once more before locking me in the room and taking the key, and then he said in an authoritative voice, "tonight, you will give your virginity to the alpha of the moonlight pack.  I have a lot of financial obligations, and I need your help to pay them off. Have everything ready to go by 7 o'clock."

“noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.”
