Chapter 1

"That was fun!" Spring giggled cutely as she fixed the big ribbon clipped on her bob-cut wig.

Spring is a little girl with nothing but innocence on her face. She was smiling widely, just like a kid who just finished playing, but her smile vanished as soon as she saw a small hole on her colorful sock.

"Not again!" She exclaimed, her lips turning into a pout.

Spring is someone everyone will surely adore,

If not only for the giant scythe resting on her hand,

And her, sitting on a pile of corpses, soaked in blood, in the middle of the night.

"Hey kid, leave your toys and get the hell out of there." A voice was heard, coming from Spring's earpiece.

It was Autumn, the hacker of the squad. Her eyes were fixed on her computer, her whole face hidden beneath her hoodie.

It was all thanks to her they managed to track down their target.

"Aren't there any more toys to play with?" Spring said, grinning like a mad kid. She wiped the blood off her face as she went down the pile of corpses.

She was in the middle of an abandoned town, in the middle of the night, her only source of light was coming from the flickering streetlights, but it didn't bother her at all. She looked around with a creep smile on her face, searching for someone to kill. Her scythe keeps making a faint sound as she drags it around, leaving traces of blood around.

"She's just too stubborn." Autumn just shrugged and moved her gaze at the other monitor on her screen.

"Hey Summer, there are about five snipers in there. Hurry up and fin-"

"Sh*t Summer!" Autumn shrieked as her eyes widen in shock.

The next few minutes were filled with nothing but gunshots.

At a rooftop of an old building, a tall tan woman blew on the mouth of her sniper rifle as some smoke came out from it. She's wearing a short tight dress accentuating her figure, wearing a blonde wig.

Before the enemies shot Spring, Summer already planted bullets through their skull.

"Don't worry Autumn, I'm pretty fast." The tan woman hold her chin as if she was thinking.

"Hm, no, I'm more of sexy rather than a pretty one. Should I say, I'm sexy fast?" She said, confused, as she reloads her rifle.

"And hey Autumn! There were six snipers to be precise." She complained and pulled her guns on both side of her legs.

Summer was their sniper, and obviously, her favorite things are guns.

She started pulling the triggers as soon as she saw some enemies charging towards her. Every shot was a bullseye, right through the enemies' heads.

"Spring, join Summer for now. Captain's almost done." Autumn said while her gaze was now fixed on a woman dashing quickly towards an old facility.

"Target located. We're done here." The woman who was called captain, coldy said as she went inside the facility with no hesitation. She was holding a katana on her right hand, and her clothes were all black just like her hair, her skin as pale as snow, resembling the cold winter.

Summer and Spring already killed all their enemies, and all that's left is their target's head.

"I'm sure Captain will be done in a few minutes." Spring said as she sat on the rooftop's edge, letting her feet sway freely on air.

"More enemies are expected to be inside that facility. Be careful." Autumn warned as she leaned on her swivel chair, waiting for a response.

Out of curiosity, Summer went for a look through her sniper scope. Everything was dark so it took her some seconds before she could see anything.

What she saw was their captain who just came out from the old facility.

And she was staring coldly right through Summer, as she holds her katana on her right hand,

and a bloody head on the left.

"Oh, sh*t!" Summer almost jumped out of shock and she immediately took a few steps away from her rifle.

"Woah, that's Winter for you!" Spring said, as she went to the scope for a look.

"How the hell did she knew I'm looking?!" Summer shrieked as she holds her chest, as if she almost had a heart attack.

"Winter might be the death for me!"

Winter is their Captain, and the most feared between the four. She's cold as her alias, and it will only took her a few seconds before she beheads their target.

After a few minutes, the whole place was burned down as the four reunited and started walking away like nothing happened.

Spring.

Summer.

Autumn.

Winter.

They were the assassin squad working in the shadows for the government.

It was their 364th murder,

and their last kill before vacation will be announced tonight.

"What do you think is the next mission? I hope it will not bore the hell out of me like this one. I want more enemies with guns." Summer said with her rifle rested on her neck. Her every move makes the hem of her short dress go up to her thighs but it didn't matter to her.

They walk towards a black limousine car surrounded by three more cars.

"I just want some rest. D*mn, being a hacker sure takes a lot of time. If only one of you here is smarter enough to replace me even for a day." Autumn heaved a sigh as her face was still covered by her hoodie.

They were greeted by some men in black and Winter quickly tossed the head to one of them. The man couldn't moved out of disbelief as some blood splatter right through his face.

The four went straight inside the limousine and was greeted by a man in his 40s. A glass of champagne was on his hand as he sits elegantly inside, dressed in a neat suit.

"Assassin squad, job well done." He said with a monotonous tone.

"Atleast act like you're sincere, Dave." Summer grunted as she rolled her eyes.

Dave was the one handling the squad and is someone from the government. He was secretly tasked to form a group of assassins who will be doing their dirty works.

In simple terms, he's the father of the squad.

The man called Dave only chuckled and cleared his throat before speaking once again.

"You're next mission will gonna be both good and bad news." He excitingly said, while his brows were moving up and down.

"What's the bad news?" Winter quickly asked, staring through the window, as the car started to move.

"You'll be dealing with S-rank authorities. So instead of a month, it might took you a year before you finished the mission."

Dave was about to sip his champagne when he was put into halt because of the sudden complaints fiiling the car.

"Wow, one step closer to the gates of hell." Autumn sarcastically said.

They've been killing A-rank authorities until now so S-rank is a whole new challenge for them.

"What's gotten into the government's head suddenly? I mean, killing S-rank is more fun, but waiting for a year before vacation sucks." Summer complained.

"What's the good news?" Spring, who was unbothered, excitingly asked. Her feet was swaying freely as it still can't reach the car's floor.

"The good news is," Dave swirled his champagne and drank the remaining wine. He looked at them proudly, as he expect them to be thrilled by his next words.

"You'll be playing with the top four, most powerful and hot, good-looking guys."
