Episode 1 Christabel's pov

"Mom, you know I can't do that! You can't expect me to attend a male school! That awkward!" I snapped, running my fingers through my hair and let out a deep breathe.

"Christa, you just have to do this. You have a mission there. Daniel, come explain things for her please. Am stressed right now." Mom touched her forehead as dad came forward to e smiling while I folded my arms under my breasts. "Okay dad. Can you go straight to the point now? What's all this?" I threw my hands in the air. "Okay, I will explain everything to you. Your mission in there is to guard the prince. You're the Prince's guardian." Dad stated and I looked at shocked.

"What? Gua....guardian? How? Why me?" I stuttered.

That wicked prince? Definitely not me. "Christa, you're the Prince's guardian. Orwell's generation, where your mother comes from. Every first daughter of the Orwells are called Gems cause they have powers. And are chosen to guard every special people in the world." Dad explained.

I scoffed. Special people like the prince?

The prince that slapped me the other day I mistakenly poured juice on him in a mall.

"So, am a Gem right? Natasha is a Gem too? Nancy is a Gem? Why didn't you all tell me this?" I bit my lip. "Tomorrow is your birthday, you'd feel your powers. You're gonna turn seventeen. I will call Nancy and Natasha to teach you all you need to know as a Gem tomorrow.

You have a mission to guard the prince. You'd be going to Royal high school on Monday as a boy. Do not let anyone know about your secret else, you will be in big trouble." Dad cautioned.

I sighed and put my hands into my pocket.

"This isn't going to be easy."

"Yeah we know. But you have no choice as a Gem. You complete your mission by guarding him and don't let any evil before him. He's in your care, Christa. Very soon you will come back home when you fulfill it." Mom cooed.

This is seriously getting upside down. The Royal high school consists of boys and it's a boarding school. Gosh! Why do I have to be a gem for goodness sake. "Make sure you get close to the prince." Mom added while I just nodded and walked to my room. I need to clear my head.

What a fucking mission. Damn it!

I have powers that are yet to be discovered. By tomorrow, I will feel my powers.

Can't I just live a normal life? Am gonna be the only girl in that school. Am gonna do like a boy, dress like a boy, do every fucking thing like a boy.

Wait! What if the king recognizes me? Am doomed. Nancy and Natasha are also gems cause they are the first born of their parents.

Other first daughters too has powers?

Should I just be happy that am discovering my powers tomorrow or I should be sad that this was kept a secret, away from. And also, I'd be going to that Royal school just to disguise as a boy and guard the prince.

In other words, am the Prince's bodyguard.
