Heather Kirkwood was sitting on the couch when the earpiece at her ear made a click sound.

“ Agent Nox. Can you hear me? ” a manly voice owned by Commander Hawk, said through the earpiece of Heather. 

She tapped it and answered, “ Yes.”

The earpiece made a click sound again, “ The heads want to meet you. Go to the headquarters immediately after you finish your current task. ” Comm. Hawk said.

“ Copy. Going now. ” She replied to him.

The earpiece makes a click sound again, “ Oh? Already do- ”

Before Comm. Hawk could finish his sentence, Heather remove the earpiece from her ear and shove it right into her pocket.

She's having a tint of late regret right now and thinking how did she get under that noisy Commander? Well, there's only one answer and that was she consider him as the one she could trust among all the commanders that tried to recruit her. Trust is the last feeling she needs in her current profession but she can't help it when the Commander reminds her of her late grandfather. 

“ Again with that face? ”

There's only one person who can ask her a question like that. She's Agent Lily, Heather's partner in every task since she joined Comm. Hawk's troupe.

“ What face? ” she asks back to Lily with a blank tone.

“ The one you're wearing right now Nox. You look like you're about to slash someone's neck right now.” Lily said and laugh. “ Let me guess, it's Comm. Hawk, isn't it? ” she asked

She's been only with her a year but she immediately gets used to Heather's personality and now she can even see through her. 

“ Who else? There's no one other than him. He's noisy, playful, and childish sometimes which is weird for a grown-up 51 years old man. ” Heather said while roaming her eyes inside the exquisite room.

They're inside a VIP hotel room on the hotel's last floor, this room serves as their meeting and resting place. They're not worried about privacy since this hotel was owned by the founder of their agency and after all, they know that they wouldn't let their agents failed on their missions because someone barged in the room where they were assigned.

Heather look at her partner, “ Btw, you already clean the mess and took care of everything, didn't you? ” she asks Lily

Lily smirked, “ Of course, duh. That's always my job when we were out for tasks and missions. ” she said and rolled her emerald eyes at Heather then flips her blonde straight hair.

“ Then let's get going, I needed to be back at HQ after this task. The heads summoned me. ” Heather told her.

“ Okay, we're already done here actually. I'm also getting bored, the task wasn't that enjoyable. ” Lily said and pouted.

Both of them leave the room after changing their clothes. Now, they look like a normal person on summer vacation since they were wearing flowy dresses with a summer hat and sunglasses on. Of course, the clothes they are wearing right now are for disguise purposes or else people would panic and scream after seeing them wearing bloody skin-tight clothes and holding a gun in both hands. That would be dumb.

Heather agrees with what Lily said earlier. She was also was not pleased with the given task. It was only to keep an eye on a corrupt politician but suddenly the uppers ordered them to capture him. The task may sound easy but it wasn't, the politician has many bodyguards and some disguised as normal people so it results in a bloody encounter. Lucky enough that there were no civilians involved in the encounter or everything will be sabotage.

The clothes they were wearing earlier were taken care of by someone and probably was burnt.

Heather was pulled out from her reverie by a loud beep. She unconsciously examines where she is right now, in the hotel's parking lot and the beep came from a car in front of her.

“ Hop In. I'll take you to the HQ, I also need to report our finished task. ” Lily said while looking to her through the car's open.

Heather get inside the car and sat at the shotgun seat.

Silence creeps throughout their way to their destination and both of them didn't even mind to broke it.

Almost half an hour passed when a big mansion can be seen inside a forest. The HQ they were talking about earlier was underneath it, an underground place.

Heather always wonder why would their agency's main HQ was underground and also needed to put a Mansion above it for disguise. Maybe it was for privacy, after all, it's an agency to assassinate evil, powerful, and corrupt people in the country.

Agent Lily immediately parks the car at the mansion's garage then both of them got out of it then entered the mansion.

As soon as they enter, all eyes fell upon both of them and the noisy atmosphere earlier turned quiet that only their breathing can be heard. 

The two of them ignored the gazes full of envy and mind what they come there. 

A tall blonde man approach Heather then whispered something to her that made her raised an eyebrow.

“ Copy. Did they tell you why would we talk there? ” Heather asks him.

“ I'm sorry, Agent Nox but I didn't know. I'll need to get going. ” The blonde man answered her and left them.

“ I guess, I should find it out for myself. ” she said to herself then sigh.
