In a far away land, there was a kingdom called Dragkan. This kingdom "Dragkan" is a magical world which has 4 lands with 4 tribes in it

The fire tribe, the lightening tribe, the air tribe and the water/ice tribe

. These 4 tribes were gifted with different abilities according to their names by their ancestors and they had a king who ruled over them and had the greatest power/gift over all but darkness soon clouds Dragkan

to fight against the king using dark magic but one of the prince

Rutherford

, the youngest defeated Sylas and brought back light to the kingdom. The king later died and the kingship title was given to Rutherford according to his dying father's wish. Ever since then, Magnus had always had it in mind to kill his brother and take back the throne which was meant for him as the oldest prince but was given to his younger brother.

as he walked into Prince Magnus' chamber

"My Lord, you sent for me" Erik said bowing his head low

"Yes Erik" Magnus replied in his baritone voice as he turned away from the window facing Erik.

"I need your help with something"

"What is it, your highness?" Erik asked.

"A teacher that doesn't teach others well or a leader having little experience in managing the affairs of the people or a company, what would happen to such person?" Magnus asked.

"He/She will be replaced and relieved of his or her duties or position" Erik replied.

"Good and what if it was a king?" He asked.

"Same thing goes for him, my lord"

"Ok. You will agree with me that this kingdom has a callow king, a man of little experience to rule the people and he isn't fit to be called a king so he should be replaced" Magnus said

"What do you mean, your highness? There's no way a king can be replaced except if he is taken out" Erik said

"Exactly! That's my point" Magnus said with a smile

"What! He is your brother, your highness" Erik said in shock.

"He is no brother of mine. He took what is rightfully mine and sits on the throne like it belongs to him" He roared.

"It was your father's wish that he become the king, not his" Erik stated.

"It makes no difference to me. He sits on the throne that belongs to me. I want what's mine, i want the throne to myself and you are going to help me get what's rightfully mine" Magnus said.

"No. I won't be an accomplice to this" Erik stated.

"How does it feel to lose one's family in a day, just because of your foolishness?" Magnus asked

"What do you mean, my prince?" Eric said fearfully

"I believe your child

should be about 15 years now and should be getting married around 25 or 26 years. What happens when she dies? It will be a sad thing for you and your wife, that's if your wife lives to mourn your daughter's death" Magnus elucidated

"No, please don't touch them. I beg of you, my prince" Erik pleaded

"I won't hurt them if you do what i ask you to do" Magnus said

"Ok. What am i to do?" He asked

"In 3 days, there will be an attack in the palace, don't let the king out of the palace. If at all he is to leave his chambers, let him stay him stay in the throne room. That's all you need to do, other things will be taken care of" Magnus said

"I understand, my prince" Erik said

"Don't worry, you will be handsomely rewarded and you will be my second in command" Magnus said

"Ok, my prince"

"I'm not your prince, i will be your king"

"Ok. My future king" Erik corrected himself

"Good boy" Magnus said. He patted Erik on the cheek and laughed evily

"Now, go"

~The D - day~

> It was about ten o'clock in the night in Dragkan. Rutherford, the present king of the four lands in Dragkan walks majestically with his guards behind him as he made his way to his room. He has been busy all day due to the series of meetings he had with the council members of Dragkan. He decided to sleep in his chamber for the night.

He heard a blast which sent him to his feet.

"There's an attack on the palace. The black scorpions are here" A guards shouted alarming the others

The black scorpions are the most ruthless of all warriors. They are assassins. They kill whosoever and take whatever they wanted. They possessed black magic with dark powers. They were banished from Dragkan by the previous king but they came back to carry Magnus' dirty job because made a good deal with them.

Rutherford stood up, wore his night robe as he heard the blast, took out the ancestral sword which gives the bearer the greatest power even beyond that of the four lands and made to go out to join his guards to fight alongside with them but Erik met with him and persuaded him not to go that the guards will handle it so they both went to the throne

***An hour before the blast

9:00pm

*** The black scorpion made their way to the palace.

They were all dressed in black with mask on their faces.

Magnus had already spilled the bean about the weak points of the palace to them so it was easy getting in.

On getting to the Palace East gate which was the weakest entry point, One of the black scorpion sprayed a gas which makes one go on a deep sleep on the few guards who were on guard.

They made their way into the palace; It was heavily guarded just as expected. The black scorpions thereafter launched attacks on the guards and knocked all of them out. The other black scorpions separated them into 3 lines, some of them went in searched of the king as Magnus joined them wearing the same outfit with them, another group headed for the west gate of the palace, killed the guards and planted a bomb and thus a blast occurred. This was a bid to draw the attention of the other guards in the palace to them while the others continued with their plan. The third group as instructed by Magnus entered into the Queen's room to kill her and her 2 children, a 6 years old girl and a 3 month old boy but on getting to the room, they were surprised to see Anthony, King Rutherford's personal guard with 4 guards there with a sword in their hands.

"You will have to go through me, first". Anthony told them putting on a bold face. He doesn't have time to call on the other securities for now; he and the 4 guards with him will just have to deal with them and make it public in the morning.

"Attack!!!". Klaus ordered the black scorpions with him.

They charged at the guards...

Anthony launched an attack with his sword in a bid to separate Klaus' head from his body but he swiftly dodged it. Anthony repeated this many times and it was the same scenario; Klaus was faster than his sword.

By the time Klaus was sure Anthony was worn out, he knocked him out using his fist. He turned to the others who had killed all the guards to kill the Queen and her children.

"No. Please spare my life and that of my children" The queen pleaded The 2 black scorpions ordered to kill the queen and her children turned a deaf ear and stabbed the little girl and the other was about to stab the little baby but the mother turned her back and the sword went through her back as she fell to the bed with the baby in her hands. The baby cried out loud as the black scorpion was about to kill him but Klaus was touched by the cry.

"Stop! Enough, the baby lives" Klaus shouted.

"What! We were asked to kill them all" The black scorpion said.

"Do you dare go against my order, huh?" Klaus shouted.

"The job must be done" The black scorpion said and lifted up his sword to slice the baby into two. Klaus threw 2 pocket knives at the two black scorpions, ran to the black scorpion that was about to slice the baby and cut off his arm.

"Ahhhh! Traitor" The black scorpion shouted while holding onto his hand. Klaus fought with the last man and stabbed him on the chest as the man dropped down with his sword.

"You bastard. Prince Magnus will come for you. Betrayal" The black scorpion said

"I will be waiting" Klaus said He knocked him out, took the baby and left the palace through the east gate.
