Alarm clock rings to signal...that it already 6 Am in the morning....the clock ringing forced me up from the bed...

My Name is Anna Ryder, my dad is an American,my mum is a Nigeria and hails from abia state..

I technically grew up overseas as I hardly came back to Nigeria..

It my first day in college and my mum and dad collectively help me pack my things and head out for college,I was happy many of my friends would be attending the same college, I would be staying on my own away from my parents...

Just this thought alone put a smile on my face as I got up the bed...

"Sunny hurry up you will miss ur flight" my mum screamed from the hired taxi..

"I'm coming ma" I replied...

Am going to miss home.. But am extra happy,am flying overseas..

My name is macsunny Kingsley but I prefered to be known as Cēē Jāy...i wrote an exam 2 years ago that would help me get a scholarship..but ever since I got no reply, I thought I failed...but it wasn't until one week ago I got a letter telling me I got a scholarship abroad.....

So here I am Cēē Jāy flying abroad..

My parents was not too rich but at least we had what we need...

I rushed into the car ,my mum sat with me in the back and my dad in front, "DADDY BOY" my dad called me.

Dats wat my father normally calls me

"Sir" I answered.....

"Your going to another man's land.." My dad said as he began his long speech..

So...he continued....I want you to be serious, focus, their mode of learning is not lyk dat of this country so u need to adapt" he said.

I nodded

It was a long drive to the air port..

It was not a long drive sha..but the anxiety in my heart made it seem as if the car was not driving speed..

But in no time we got to the airport,we got my. Bags from the booth, and hurried to confirm my flight ticket...my mum passed me my luggage, tears dropped from her eyes, she hugged me tightly..

My dad did the same....

I was about to enter a room were my luggage would be weighed and put in the plane before my dad called me,

"Take this "he said as he handed me his android phone.."be careful. I will call the number on the phone to confirm if you have landed..

I hugged him and walked quickly into the loading room...

My luggage was taken from me to be loaded on the plane ....

 I and the other boarders were directed to the plane..

My heart leaped for joy as I stepped into the plane..everybody took their seat, I looked at my ticket and saw my seat number and sat down...

 30 minutes later the plane took off..
