This morning it was raining heavily as if a giant bucket had been poured from the sky. The girl watched from the window of her apartment waiting for the rain that would not let up.

Laura did have an important appointment with the dean of FKH UGM before starting her official work on campus as a lecturer in the Anatomical Pathology section. She glanced at the clock on the wall in the living room of her apartment. "Oh, I can be late if I don't leave soon! I feel bad if I have to be late on the first day of service on campus."

Finally, Laura made up her mind to break through the torrential rain. She took the keys to her red HRV and headed for the car park in the basement of her apartment.

During the trip the weather was still very bad, the windshield of the car looked a bit blurry because of the heavy rain even though the wipers were turned on. After half an hour of fighting through the rain, Laura arrived at the campus.

When going down from the car to the V2 building to meet the dean of FKH. She looked around for her umbrella which she used to put in the car so it wouldn't get soaked because it was still raining hard.

"Where's the usual umbrella in the car?!" she said frustrated because she couldn't find the umbrella she used to put in her car.

"Oh my gosh, I stayed at Papa's house last week." she said after she remembered leaving her only umbrella which she used to have in the car.

Laura also made up her mind to run to the lobby of the V2 building from the parking lot. Her meeting time was only 5 minutes away, she didn't want to be late.

"Aahhh!" she screamed in surprise when she hit a body that was hard like a wall and almost fell if not immediately pulled by the owner of the hard body. "Miss be careful, next time watch your way!" reprimanded the man who was currently hugging Laura's body tightly, while Laura was still in shock and cold because her body was half wet from the rain.

Laura looked at the face of the man she had accidentally bumped into earlier and felt her face warm up. Her previously pale cheeks began to blush red with embarrassment. The young man is very handsome like a Korean artist.

"Sorry ... I'm in a hurry!" Laura said quickly then immediately ran to the stairs that led to the 2nd floor.

James let go of the girl who had bumped into him earlier and stared blankly at the girl leaving. He felt his heart pounding as he looked at the girl's face.

A very beautiful girl, it seems that in the past 3 years he has never crossed paths with that girl on campus. New student? But her appearance was too elegant and mature for a college student, apparently not. James was still thinking and talking in his heart.

"Wooiii!!!" Deon shouted his best friend from behind startling James.

"Hey, what are you doing to surprise me!" said James, pretending to hit Deon's head.

"After all, you're just standing in the middle of the lobby alone. What are you trying to do? By the way, did you get the materials for tomorrow's presentation, James?" asked Deon.

"It's okay. It's in my bag. Today seems like the General Pathology class is still empty, right? Mr. Bambang is still being treated at the hospital, it's been reported," James said as he walked towards the V1 building where classes were held the next hour.

"Maybe it's empty. But let's just wait in class, anyways, we have to fill in the absences. After class, where are you going, Bro?" asked Deon while looking for a seat in room 101.

James was still thinking about the girl who had bumped into him and didn't really pay attention to Deon's words. "Oops, this is nuts..." Deon exclaimed, a little annoyed that James didn't answer his question anymore.

"Ehh sorry Bro," said James uncomfortably to Deon.

"So I was hit by a girl in the lobby, she really look like a half-blood model. Not a FKH student." he continue.

"You don't know her? What's her name? Who knows, you can be intimidated by the fact that you're eternally single..." Deon teased, quipping his best friend, who is still single from the beginning of college until 6th semester.

Even though when it comes to looks, there's no shortage of James. But every time there is a girl who is close, there is never a response.

"Where's the time?! She hastily fled to the 2nd floor. Yes, if only she is my destiny, I will see her again. I've been single all this time because I don't have time to date. I won't be like elder Dany, who spent 8 years for study in college, every day he only works on courtship," answered James defensively while using the name of his senior who never graduated from college.

"Good morning all!" A female lecturer walks into lecture hall 101 and greets students.

The lecture hall was instantly quiet, which was once bustling like a market.

Deg. James's heart seemed to hit right in the core when he saw the beautiful face in front of him.

'That's the girl who bumped into me this morning in the lobby', James thought as he furrowed his brows and adjusted his sudden arrhythmic heartbeat.

Laura looked around the corner of the classroom while assessing the facial expressions of the students she was going to teach this morning.

She had never felt the feeling of stage fright since she had to repeatedly present scientific research in front of international class examiner. Her mentality is really as hard as steel, very incompatible with her calm, beautiful appearance, really deceiving the eyes, usually beautiful women are less intelligent. But this is different, she's Gwendolyn Laura Carson.

"Introduce me Professor Gwendolyn Laura Carson, you can call me Mrs. Laura or Prof. Laura. From today until the end of semester 6, I will be teaching General Pathology in place of Professor Bambang Gunawan. Greetings to all. Do you have any questions? I welcome you."

The class suddenly fell silent.

One student raised his hand. "Yes please," said Laura.

"Is Mrs. Laura still single?" asked Deon who suddenly made the whole class sound 'huuuuuuuu' in unison.

Laura laughed softly as she shook her head as if she couldn't understand the magical question she received when she first gave today's lecture. "I'm still single, Boy. But I won't answer any other personal questions."

"Okay, if you don't have any other questions, let's start our lecture this morning about pathological conditions of blood circulation. The lecture material can be downloaded on the FKH web chapter General Pathology series 3," Laura said.

A pair of eyes that stared unmoved since Laura entered the class made Laura's heart flutter a little strangely, but she covered that nervous feeling by giving a lecture presentation in a straightforward manner and interspersed with question and answer interactions with her students until the class ended.

Laura dismissed the class exactly 1 hour after she started. The students rushed out of the 101 lecture hall.

There was a student who hadn't left class 101 who Laura thought was the most handsome in the class. The young man she bumped into this morning in the lobby.

Laura packed her things on the lecturer's desk. A hand stretched out in front of her. "Introducing Professor. My name is James Peter Indrajaya, you can call me James." The owner of the hand looked straight into Laura's eyes seriously.

The man's face is really handsome and flawless, at a glance he looks like Laura's favorite drama star, Park Seo Joon, her handsome Oppa.

Laura shook the warm, strong hand. "Hi James. Nice to meet you." Her hands were still gripped tightly until she cleared her throat before James let go of his handshake.

"Sorry about this morning, I bumped into you in the lobby. It was raining so hard this morning, I left my umbrella at my father's home." Laura tried to smile calmly while it felt like butterflies were flying in her stomach.

James smiled and said "Oh, it's only right that you run around in the pouring rain without an umbrella, Professor Laura. Well, I won't disturb your precious time. Go ahead."

"Okay, James. See you later." Laura walked away with a smile.

The young man watched his new lecturer disappear from the door of the lecture hall 101. He felt something different from his feelings when he saw Professor Laura's smile. Has he fallen in love?
