Tes looked back, scared to the marrow and kept on running into the dead night. She knew something was chasing her, she could hear it steps. Her sweats were turning into blood, with heart pounding so fast, she ran as fast as her legs could carry her into the dead night.

"You killed me!!!"

That was what she kept hearing which sent shivers down her spine. She had never killed anyone before so why was she being chased by an unknown creature.

She was in the woods, she leaned against a tree to rest and suddenly she heard the voice again"You killed me and I'm coming for you!!"

Her heart sank and she started running, she didn't know were she was running to but she just wanted to be safe.

She saw a house not too far and quickly made her way towards it. She was thanking her stars for this shelter.

She entered and locked the door, sighing a breathe of relief. Then she turned back and saw it, right infront of her stood a hideous human, its flesh was falling of, with eyeballs popping out, it looked like a zombie with tattered cloths and blood stained teeth and hands.

It was her brother!

she could recognise the clothes.

"You killed me Tes!!"

He grabbed her by the throat and threw her to the ground violently.

"I didn't, I didn't...didn't...kill..you" Tes stammered in tears. Horror was written all over her face as she saw her brother trying to kill her

But he didn't listen, He plunged forward ready to attack her and then.......

"Aaahhhhh!!!!" Tes woke immediately.

She was panting, her heart was beating so fast and her face was covered in perspiration

"what a nightmare!" She thought to herself. She looked at the time, it was 8:30am.

She quickly picked her phone which was beside her bed and called her fiance James.

"Hey James goodmorning"

"Sweetheart goodmorning how are you and how was your night?" he replied.

"I'm not fine dear, I had the same dream again!"

Tes was already in tears, her voice was shaking over the phone.

"Calm down hun, let's meet at Nona's breakfast cafe, ok? So we can talk"

"Sure dear, I'll be there soon thanks James" Tes said ending the call.

She knew something was wrong. She had been having this nightmares ever since her brother's death and she needed to find the answers fast.

She went to her standing mirror and looked at her face. Her eyes were swollen a bit and dark.

'Yup nightmares comes with less sleep' she said to herself. She saw little bruises on her cheek, she wondered how she got them and caressed her cheek. Her beautiful brown hair was already scattered, she sighed to herself and opened the windows of her room.

"It is windy out there, I guess I'll put on a hoody and joggers" she said to herself and made her way to the bathroom.

30 minutes later, Tes walked into the cafe and she spotted James sitting at the left hand side.

"James I really love you and if anything happens to me I'll want you to know that" she thought to herself.

James and Tes had been courting for five months.

His eyes lit up when he saw her.

Tes smiled at him as she walked over and they embraced each other. She let herself sink into his warm embrace and she loved his scent.

"James I don't know what's going on anymore" Tes said sitting down. Her mood was begining to change.

James squeezed her hand reassuringly and softly, nodding his head showing he was listening.

"Everytime I keep on having the same dream, my brother keeps on trying to kill me and he always says I killed him in every dream, James I feel I'm responsible for my brother's death. The night he died,he came over to my house and we had a big argument. He wasn't living up to our parents expectations from what I saw in him and I told him that. It really hurt him. He left and drove off out of anger and the next day the police called me that he had been involved in an accident and he died instantly. I told my parents that he committed suicide instead, I felt if they got to know of the reckless life he lived and the way he looked when he came to my house plus our big fight,they would be so heartbroken" Tes said crying.

"Baby please don't say that, you aren't responsible for his death"

A waiter then approached their table"Excuse me would you like to order anything?" He asked.

"Uum ok give us chocolate bread and coffee" James said. He wrote down their order, nodded and left.

"Thanks James, I'm actually hungry" Tes said giving a faint smile.

"In every dream I always run into a house, and the house, the house ..uummm....it looks familiar..I feel like I've seen it in reality" Tes added.

"Really wow that means maybe your brother wants you to go there"

Tes nodded and added"the house seems like it's in the outskirts of town like close to the woods"

It suddenly dawned on them. There was only one house close to the woods and that is Fall Manor

"The fuck! Your brother wants you to go to Fall Manor??,huh?? That house is haunted, you ain't going, I can't let you" James said.

"I have to, because it seems something is there, why do I always see that house in my dreams, and why does he chase me into it, the answers lies there, baby I know you are worried about me but I have to do this. It's my fight" Tes said trying to reassure James.

The waiter then approached them with their order"I hope you both enjoy" he added smiling and left.

Tes looked at James and smiled reassuringly at him whilst gently caressing his hands.

"Ok fine if that's what you want, but please be careful there ok, when do you want to go?"

"Right now if possible after this break fast"

She saw the surprise in James face but watched it cool off immediately as he sighed and reluctantly agree with her.

"I'll drop you off" he said and kissed her hands which made her blush.

After the meal, they both headed towards Fall Manor in James' car.

The weather was really cold and dew covered everywhere.

When they got there, James looked at Tes, pleading with his eyes for her to stay.

"I'll be fine ok, trust me, this house might have the answer to my nightmares"

"When should I come pick you, this evening?" James asked sighing.

"Prolly in the next four days Hun...I know yes..you are worried about me" she said quickly noticing the shock in his eyes.

"I'll be fine..I don't think I'll get the answers in just one day, if my brother wants to talk to me, we are going to talk, I'm going to give him all the time he wants" she added and opened the car door.

"What about your phone, where is it?" James asked as he came down from the car.

"Ooh goodness, I left it home..well I'm going to be fine ok, my brother won't kill me, he wants me here for a reason I can feel it" .

Tes walked over and hugged James after which they kissed again before he entered the car, waved at her and zoomed off.

She stared until she couldn't see the car anymore.

Tes then turned to the door of the house, sighing"well Fall Manor, I'm here, let's see if you can give me the answers to my nightmares" she said and pushed open the door.
