The path winds through the mountain, taking nine turns and eighteen bends. The scenery along the way is breathtaking, with clouds and mist enveloping the area. It's a place that captivates people, making them linger and not want to return.

"Squeak!" A shrill sound of scratching and collision suddenly disrupted the tranquility of the forest. A BMW descended from the mountain as if it had lost control. Its crazy speed, along with occasional drifts, was both urgent and risky as if it were participating in a life-and-death rally race.

In the driver's seat, there was a young man. His handsome face was solemn but not panicked, aside from the sarcastic smile that tugged at the corner of his mouth.

Someone had tampered with his car, intending to put him in a deadly situation.

But if he were to die so easily, wouldn't it be too comfortable for those people?

It wouldn't be that simple. Even if he became a vengeful ghost, he wouldn't let them go.

The man let out a strange sneering laugh from his throat. Unfortunately, the car couldn't resist the inertia of its quick descent, taking him along as it crashed down the mountain, bursting into a pile of fierce flames rolling down the steep slope.

The next day's headlines read: "The new President of the Ji Company, Ji Junyang, died in a car accident. His body was completely destroyed by the fire."

Some rejoiced, while others grieved.

Seven days later, in the hospital, doctors and nurses who were at a loss were driven out of the disheveled ward.

By the sunset-lit window, the man now looked like a caged beast trapped in darkness, his dark eyes losing focus.

The moment he jumped from the car, he had thought of countless possibilities - losing an arm or a leg, or even death. But he never expected to become blind, unable to see anything. The world was pitch black. The unknown had robbed him of his senses. His usually gentle demeanor was now replaced with a fierce one, just like thunder.

A long sigh swept past his ear, as if scornfully smirking, "Such a handsome man, but he's so immature. What a pity..."

"Who are you?" Although he was blind, his hearing had become incredibly sharp. It felt like someone was less than twenty centimeters away from him. The owner of the voice seemed to be a young girl.

"I'm the one that saved you."

Although the man was blind, his guard never lowered, "Why did you save me?"

"Hey, you sure are interesting. I kindly saved you, and you doubt my motives? That's really boring. Even a little monk knows, 'saving a life is more important than building a seven-storied pagoda.'" The girl seemed rather annoyed.

"Are you a nun?" He knew there was a nunnery on the mountain, seldom visited by people. It was a pity to waste such a crystal-clear, bell-like voice.

"Tch, the secular world is so fascinating. Why would I run to a place where Buddha's name is chanted all day and living in a state of 'all is emptiness'? But you, Ji Junyang, if you have nothing left in life, I would not mind sending you to Xi Xin Temple to take monastic vows. After all, it's only about seventeen or eighteen miles from here, consider it me being kind to the end."

The man's eyes suddenly became dark and cloudy, "How do you know my name?"
