My body stiffened.

Yes, I didn't dare to look at them.

When I knew they were not human, I decided not to look at them. However, with my curiosity piqued, I still secretly glanced at them. However, I almost peed in my pants after taking only one glance.

That scene will stay with me forever. That was the first time I'd seen it, and I didn't dare look at it again.

The teacher who was just spotted probably couldn't contain his scream of terror when he saw them, and that's why he was noticed by THEM.

"Hi, teacher! You're trembling. What are you afraid of?"

At this moment, a student came to me, bent down, and leaned over to see my face.

Half of the student's face was burnt, and his eyes were about to fall out.

I was so scared that I was screaming in my heart, but I couldn't make a sound.

The only gut reaction left told me that I had to calm down.

I tried to control the timidness and scolded, "What are you doing? Get down and sit at your place!"

The student obediently returned to his seat after being reprimanded by me.

I calmed down and reminded myself countless times in my heart. Then, I looked up at the group of students.

They must have been caught in a fire when they were alive. Most of the students' faces were burned, and their skin had been destroyed. They looked terrifying. Some students jumped off a building to avoid the fire. For this, their head broke.

In contrast, a student in the corner looked normal. It was not an exaggeration to say that she was an ordinary person. Was this student also a human being?

I tried my best to control the fear, showed the dignity of a teacher, and said, "Don't keep staring at me. Look at the blackboard, and read books. There are no answers on my face. Do you understand?"

"But teacher, don't you need to know how we'll react to your lecture?" the student continued. His expression was particularly aggrieved when he said this, but as a ghost, no matter how disappointed he was, it only scared me.

"Why do I have to see your reactions? Do you think I'm begging you to learn in my class? You should know that learning is for your own sake. It won't benefit me in any way." I tapped on the table loudly, as if I could vent my fear.

"All right, let's continue with our class."

Then, I began to impart knowledge according to the textbook's contents and didn't look at them anymore.

As a student, I had a long and torturous time attending classes. But now that I had become a teacher, that feeling doubled. My mouth was dry, but I couldn't wait for the bell to ring.

Finally, I heard the ringing of the bell.

As if I had seen the glimmer of light, I closed the textbook and ran back to the office as soon as I finished class.

At this time, I saw eight teachers in the office. They taught English, Sports, History, Politics, Geography, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

By the way, I taught Mathematics, and the teacher who entered the class before me was scared to death, literally.

After the principal introduced this school, every teacher thought of leaving. However, we couldn't. It seemed normal when we entered this school. Now, it seemed we could not get out of this building, no matter how hard we tried. The gate of the first floor was useless, and we couldn't even find the principal now.

Moreover, there was only one class in this school, so we would gather in this office and share the same misfortune.

At the sight of them, my pounding heart turned normal. I touched my back and found my drenching-wet shirt as if I were standing in the rain.

When the other teachers saw me returning, they gathered around me and asked about the situation.

I told them everything I had just experienced. A timid teacher was so scared that his face turned pale, and he kept murmuring what to do. Someone cried and wanted to go home.

Only a teacher named Gu Ci was exceptionally calm. "As the principal told us, we would be fine if we conduct lessons as usual and they don't find out that we are human beings."

I nodded. From what I had just experienced, that was true.

During this period, it was time for recess. Hence, the rest time was a little longer. We talked a lot, but soon the bell rang, and it was still my turn to enter the class.

I was much calmer this time. Perhaps, it was because I had already taught the ghost students once, or it was because of Gu Ci's comfort. As long as I didn't look at them, it was no different from ordinary lessons.

No. It was even much easier because I didn't need to interact with the students. Instead, I only needed to keep talking.

However, halfway through my lesson, I heard two screams.
