This story has always been close to my heart. The concept was something that I had in my mind since long. After being encouraged by my family, I thought of sharing it with all. Hope you all enjoy it just as much as I enjoyed narrating it to you.

Chapter 1

“Riyaaaaaaaaaa”,

“God Anju, you really scared me.” Riya looked at her friend amused.

‘Heheeee, that’s what am I here for. So how was your test?” Anju asked excitedly.

Riya shrugged and said, “I guess it was okay. Hope I can clear it with good marks.”

“Of course you will dear. After all you will get selected to your boyfriend’s office then” Anju replied.

“I just hope so. You know I’ve always dreamt of working with him. I just love him so so so much Anju.”

Riya was always so in love with Raj Singhania, the CEO of the Singhania industries. They met for the first time when he had come as a special guest to her college last year. Being her long time crush, she was too excited and drew his attention with her vivacious nature. Soon enough they were dating. Anju felt Raj was never so serious about her friend. However Riya strongly felt he loves her a lot. She refused to budge. Anju did try to tell her several times, but Riya brushed it all aside. Anju just hoped her friend would not get hurt in the end. It was only Anju who knew that behind all the façade of being an arrogant person, Riya was actually a very sweet and kind hearted person.

She was the only one who had seen how sweet and kind she was. She often asked Riya why would she want to put up the act of being arrogant, to which she just replied, “Life has taught me a good lesson, when one tries to be too good.”

One thing Riya hates and avoids most is talking about her family. Anju often wonders why does she not want to talk about her family, but she respects her friend’s decision and thus chose to stay quiet. She vowed to always be with her. They were like soul sisters. One cries, both cries. Anju’s family also likes Riya very much.

“Anju, come on let’s get going. I am getting late. I need to meet Raj. God, I really miss him already.”

“Uhhhh, Riya I need to go somewhere why don’t you go ahead alone today. I mean I have to go with my family for the function. I’d promised Mom that I will accompany her today.”

“Oh dear, which means I shall see you after our vacation.” Riya said sadly

“Yes Riya, I am so sorry dear. Besides I am sure, you and Raj would want to catch up with each other.”

Riya blushed hearing it. They said their good byes to each other and went their way.
